Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I have a Love/Friendship card that you could give to anyone in your life at anytime. It’s not limited to Valentine’s Day, even though it features the new “Valentine Word Search Die” by Kat Scrappiness.
Let’s get started!
Although it’s a word search die, I immediately saw an eye chart in my mind, similar to the one on which my eye doctor tests my (failing) vision. LOL! Wanting to play up on that crazy thought, I found a glasses die cut and a “Spectacular” die cut sentiment in my stash to carry out my design idea.
I ran the Word Search die through my Big Shot using white card stock and popped out all the letters. Then I adhered a small scrap of pink card stock behind the “You” and “Are” and mounted this layer on a layer of black card stock so that the rest of the letters would appear in “Eye Chart Black.” LOL!. I adhered everything to an A2 card base.
Next, I adhered the “Spectacular” die cut sentiment and then foam mounted the glasses die cut onto the front of the card. For the finishing touch, I adhered two gold hearts from the Kat Scrappiness “Sweetheart Valentine Sequin Mix” to the front of the glasses. That’s it!
The supplies I used are listed and linked below.
