Hi Everyone! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing not two, but three Easter cards I made with several of the new Kat Scrappiness Easter stamps, dies, and embellishments.
My first card features the new “Easter Border Coverplate Die.” This die creates an adorable Easter scene for your A2 sized card. You can also cut it to use as a border if you do not wish to use it as a background die. This coverplate diehas a top that is a cute grass border, an Easter bunny, and two Easter eggs; one small and one larger.
This die looks adorable on a cloud background card base, which I did for this card, using the MFT “Mini Clouds Edges Stencil” and the new Distress Oxide Ink, “Kitsch Flamingo.” I die cut the coverplate die several times using white card stock and patterned papers for a variety of colors and added an extra strip of green grass with the “Slimline Grass Border Die.” I “hid” some “Easter Egg Parade Sequins” in the grass..
I coated the “Brush Script Happy Easter Word Die” sentiment with the “Kitsch Flamingo Embossing Glaze” and added three hot pink enamel dots from the “Quokka Love” collection.
My second card is a “mini slimline card” featuring the new “Happy Easter Bunny” stamp, heat embossed with rose gold embossing powder on navy card stock with a rose gold background created with the “Mini Slimline Diamond Wire & Wood Grain Frame Die.”
The two pale pink enamel dot on the bunny’s paws are once again from the “Quokka Love” collection.
For my third card, I black heat embossed the bunny image over a background I created using a “Scribble Stencil” and the Distress Oxide Ink, “Kitsch Flamingo.” Once again, I used four hot pink enamel dots from the “Quokka Love” collection.
