    Happy New Year! (almost)

    Hello everyone!

Happy New Year a couple of days early! I am here with Kat Scrappiness sharing a New Year mini slimline card. I love the colors on this card, gold and black are so rich and elegant.  The Happy New Year die is a KS die and I offset if with some glitter black cardstock.

Here is my card for your inspiration:
Here is how I created the card:
    • Cut the white Slimline Card Base: 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″).
    • I cut paper using my cutter with the black and gold cardstock (I didn’t measure anything)
    • Die cut the strips using Mini Slimline Wonky Dies and adhered it to the base of the card.
    • Die cut the word die from KS “Happy New Year” Brush Script Word & Sentiment Die twice and offset the black glitter paper.
    • Assembled the card and added KS Gold and Onyx Black Pearl Mix.

    Christmas Wishes

Hello Friends Waleska here with my last card for 2021.  I took some vacations this past two weeks in the beautiful Florida and I was inspired by one of my trips to the beach for this card.  I hope you like it!

    CARD DETAILS:

To start this card I diecut the front panel of the card with the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle Die with white cardstock.  I then cut the Christmas flip flops with the Ugly Sweater Slimline paper pack, I love the traditional christmas colors of this pattern paper, I then cut the sand with the Summer Fun Essentials I added vintage photo oxide ink to give the sand more texture.

I used a cloud stencil to create the sky and I used the word dies Happy Holidays and Christmas Wishes I combined the two of them to create this sentiment.  I also die cut this two words with gold cardstock to create a golden shadow on them.  I finally adhered this panel to a green cardbase and added some stars.

I hope you have a wonderful Season and no matter where you are, you are happy and healthy!

Kat Scrappiness, Nicki Hearts Cards, snowman, slimline

Hi, everyone! I am Nicki of Nicki Hearts Cards. Today we are going to make this adorable slimline snowman card. Check the link below for the video of the entire process.

First, let’s start with the Cozy Christmas Slimline Paper pad and some glitter white paper. I cut the slimline paper to 3.5 x 8. Next, I cut the snowman, snowy hills and sentiment out of the white glitter paper.

    A Whole Lotta Love!

Good Morning!  Kathy from Expressive Paper here with a whole lotta love for you. Christmas is over and it’s almost a New Year. I hope your holidays were filled with love. So it’s time to start our Valentine’s Day cards. This card came together pretty quickly. So let’s make a card!

    Card Details

    • First, cut your card base.  I am using a top folding A2 card base.  Cut at 4.25″ x 11″ and then score at 5.5″ with the new Kat Scrappiness Teflon Bone Folder for a perfect fold. Set this aside. The card stock is Neenah Classic Crest 110lb,
    • Next, cut a white card stock panel to 4.25″ x 5.5″.
    • Using the Say It With Hearts stamp set, use the heart outline to create a background of these hearts.  I used red dye ink to stamp the hearts.
    • Then cut a white card stock panel to 3.25″ x 4.5″.
    • From the slimline paper pack Heartfelt Wishes, select the four patterns you want to feature.  This pack is full of beautiful Valentine’s Day paper.  It is double-sided so plenty of patterns to choose from.  These strips were cut to 1 1/8″ x 3.25″
    • Space evenly and adhere your strips to the smaller white panel with Gina K Connect glue.
    • Now we will cut our sentiment.  I love this die it is the I Love You Shadow Die Set from Kat Scrappiness. I cut the letter I and the word YOU out from a scrap of white card stock.  The shadow was cut from a scrap piece of red card stock.  The word LOVE was cut from white card stock and the shadow from red card stock.  I arranged the sentiment to fit on the main panel and added glue to adhere the areas that touch.
    • I then adhered this to a piece of vellum and fussy cut around the sentiment, leaving a slight border.
    • I popped the small main panel and the sentiment up using some iCrafty Double Sided Foam Tape.
    • Every Valentine’s card needs a bit of bling and the Kat Scrappiness Raspberry Delight Multi-Colored Pearl Mix has the perfect colors to match the patterned paper.
    • The 4.25″ x 5.5″ white card stamped with hearts was glued to the card base.

And that’s it, the card is finished.  I thank you all for stopping by to see these beautiful products from Kat Scrappiness in my creation.  I cherish each and every one of you and wish you the happiest New Year!  Make sure you keep your eyes open for the new releases on January 1st.  They are gorgeous!

    Happy New Year! ~ Kathy

Simply Amazing Card with Ink Smooshed Background

    Hello crafty friends!

It’s Alicia a.k.a. Crafty Al here to share a look at the 5×7 card that I created using some of the new products from Kat Scrappiness.

To create the background I did some ink smooshing and then used the 5×7 Neverending Rectangles die set. I used one rectangle to cut out the main piece and 2 smaller ones to create an inner frame (which I later put on the inside). Before placing these pieces onto the card front I added some embossed line details with a VersaMarker Waterrmark pen and adhered to some sliver foil cardstock.

I cut the Simply Amazing Sentiment with Shadow Die using vellum and silver foil cardstock and to finish off the card I adhered a smattering of pearls from the Midnight Sky pearl mix.

You can check out my video for the full process…

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today’s card!

    “Love” Mini Slimline Shaker

    Hello Friends!

Sheri here today with a Valentine Shaker card idea! I don’t know about you but I’m totally ready to start creating some Valentine themed projects!

For today’s card I pulled out a bunch of my favorite Kat Scrappiness dies and came up with this fun shaker card. It was super easy to create!

    Steps to Create Card:

    • Create a mini slimline card base using red card stock measuring 3 1/2″ x 6″ (7″ x 6″, scored at 3 1/2″ on 7″ side).
    • Cut out the largest die in the Mini Slimline Scalloped Edge die set using white card stock. Panel measures 3 1/8″ x 5 5/8″.
    • Cut Red Mat measuring 2 13/16″ x 5 3/8″.
    • Cut out the Mini Slimline Heart Panel with red card stock.
    • Trim a piece of acetate to fit under the Mini Slimline Heart Panel. Approximate size 2 5/8″ x 5 1/4″.
    • Cut out 2 hearts from the Layering Nested Hearts die set using white card stock (I stacked them to add a little dimension).
    • Cut out 3 “Love” from the I Love You Shadow die set (1 red mirror card stock and 2 white card stock and stack them for dimension)
    • For shaker filler I used a combination of 50 Shades of Red and Red Heart Sprinkles.
    • Assemble shaker window and card.
    • For embellishment I added a few Diamond Rhinestones.

Here’s a list of the supplies I used from the store.

    Merry Christmas Quokka Card

    Good morning Kat Scrappiness Friends!

Tasha here sharing a festive holiday card featuring the cute Dress Up Quokka Stamps and Ugly Sweater Add-On Set!

Click the video link below to see the full card making tutorial!

    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWYWaThRU1g]

The quokkas and sweaters were stamped with black hybrid ink and colored with Copic Markers. I also used the coordinating die sets to easily cut the images out.

The greeting “Merry Christmas” is from the Merry Critters Stamp Set and was stamped with a deep teal ink. For extra color, I added Distress Ink around the edges of the center card and stamped little snowflakes using the same ink color.

Lastly, I added several pearls from the Sparkling Snow Pearl Mix and attached a layer of glitter paper and Ugly Seater Patter Paper before adhering the card to a square card base.

Thank you for checking out today’s project and I hope you enjoyed this Quokka holiday card!
