Cheers to 2021! | You Can’t Come Soon Enough!

Hi Everyone! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I have another “Happy New Year” card for you. I don’t think anyone can make too many of these this year, do you? LOL!

I used “Salty Ocean,” “Blueprint Sketch,” and “Chipped Sapphire” Distress Oxide inks to make the night sky and an Echo Park stencil and gold embossing paster to create the fireworks. Next I colored and die cut the celebratory Newton the cat, from Newton Nook‘s “Newton’s New Year Stamp & Die Combo.

I finished the card by gold heat embossing “2021”  at the bottom and die cutting the sentiment “Happy New Year” using the Kat Scrappiness “Happy New Year Brush Script Word & Sentiment Die” and hot pink card stock.

Happy New Year to You All!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagram for more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!

    Hooray!

2020 is just about over — HOORAY!!  It’s been one for the record books without a doubt!  My card is to celebrate a ‘farewell to 2020’ and hopes for a much better 2021!

For my card, I first cut black, gold glitter and silver glitter cardstock with the Cityscape Slimline dies and layered them onto navy cardstock.  To create the shaker, I cut navy cardstock with one of the Tri-Frame Slimline Dies and adhered a sheet of Slimline Acetate to the back.  Then, using double-sided adhesive foam, I lined the frame.  For the filler, I used Celebrate Silver Sequin Mix and Light Gold Stars Sequins and enclosed the shaker frame with the Cityscape piece.   For the card base, I cut shiny silver cardstock with one of the Slimline Never Ending Nesting Dies and adhered the slimline shaker to the base.  To finish, I cut vellum and silver glitter cardstock with the Hooray w/Shadow dies.

Wishing you and yours a blessed, hope-filled and loving New Year!

    Happy New Year

    Hello,

Working with some of the wonderful products that are sold on the Kat Scrappiness site. So many items available that not only work alone but pair so well with the Kat Scrappiness line of products.

This fun New Year’s card was made using several of the Lawn Fawn items found on the Kat Scrappiness site. Definitely check out all the different items available on Kat’s site.

This card is a mix of dies and stamps (Acorn House, Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop, and Let’s Go Nuts Stamp). I die cut and layered the pieces to create the scene. I used Copic markers to shade the die cuts to add dimension to them. I then stamped, cut and colored the happy little party animals to complete the New Year’s party scene.

I am so pleased with being able to shop with Kat and be able to get such a wide variety of items.

    Happy New Year!

    Merry Christmas!!!!

    Merry Christmas everyone!

It’s Donna here back again as guest designer for Kat Scrappiness.  I hope you all are having a lovely Christmas with your family under these crazy times.  I am here sharing a Slimline Holiday shaker card created using the NEWLY released Christmas Shaker Ornament dies and the Sugar Plum Fairies sequins from Kat Scrappiness.

Here is how I created my card:

    1. I cut the base for my slimline card at 3 1/2 x 8 1/2,2. I then die cut the top layer with Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Nesting Slimline Dies using the Sugar Plum Fairies slimline paper,

    3. I then die cut the ornaments from glitter paper using the Christmas Shaker Ornament dies, that I created a shaker with using the Sugar Plum Fairies sequins. I adhered them to the base of the card and added some string from my stash to create the ornament,

    4. I die cut the words from Kat Scrappiness “Happy Holidays” Brush Script Word die,

    5. I finished off my card by adding the Sugar Plum Fairies sequins to the card.

Here is a closer look at the card.

Here is my second card I am sharing with you today.  It is created using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched and Layered Christmas Tree die.  I cut the top layer using the Kat Scrappiness Wonky Stitched Nesting slimline dies, I inked the layer with distress ink and added white distress ink to create snow in the background.  I die cut the Stitched and Layered Christmas tree with green mirrored paper.  I die cut the ornaments and added them to my card.

Be sure to check out the Holiday Sale!  The sale runs until January 1.

I hope I have been inspired. Here is a list of supplies I used on my card, Affiliate Links used at no additional cost. Thank you for your support.
