Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I have an Easter card showcasing the beautiful “Faberge Egg with Cross Die”from Kat Scrappiness.
This die, from the newly released Easter collection, cuts like “butta,” so running it through my Big Shot using a heavy-weight silver mirror card stock was not a problem.
I created a background using wood grained patterned paper, which I adhered to a deep purple card base, providing just a thin border of color on all four sides of the card. After adhering the silver mirror die cut to the front of the card, I ran the “Faberge Egg with Cross Die” through my Big Shot again, this time using a fuchsia mirror card stock, so I could inlay just the flower petals only into the silver die cut. Then I scattered a few of Kat‘s “Silver Jewels” around the image.
The “Easter Blessing” sentiment was die cut from the same fuchsia mirror card stock and adhered to the top of the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagram for more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!
