Welcome everyone! Today’s project is a Fall card using Lawn Fawn’s Cheery Christmas Stamp set . When this set came out, I knew the little critters would be great in projects all year. Just change out ink colors and maybe some accessories and you have it made!
The background piece was made using the tree image from the set. I stamped it using Lawn Fawn’s Carrot, Butter and Chili Pepper inks. I added a little sparkle by stamping the same tree image with Versamark Ink and then adding Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder. The squirrels from the set were stamped onto Neenah Solar White 110b. card stock, and then colored using Copic markers. I added details to the squirrels by using a fine tip black marker as well as a white gel pen.
Using some olive green card stock from my stash, I die cut the Kat Scrappiness Hello Word die and the Gina Marie Designs Leaf Wreath die. I added the same gold embossing powder to the tips of the leaves by using an inexpensive sponge and applying Versamark ink and then the embossing powder.
I adhered my background panel to a kraft card base and then added my wreath. I left the leaves unglued so I could bend them up to add dimension. The squirrels are popped up off the the panel with foam tape and the “hello” die was adhered to the center of the wreath with the tails of the word being held by the little squirrels.
