    Eat Chicken Slimline Shaker Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. There are so many new Slimline products at Kat Scrappiness and for my card I chose the Cross Stitched Nesting Slimline die along with the Thanksgiving Gnome stamp set for this funny Thanksgiving Card. Below you will find the steps to create your own Eat Chicken Slimline Shaker Card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 8 1/2”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a horizontal side fold card. (Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Apply ink onto a craft mat and spray with water. Dip the Cardstock into the ink, heat set it and repeat until you reach the desired effect. This is called ink smushing. Let dry.

Step 3 – Diecut Cross Stitched Nesting Slimline to the panel created from Step 2. Diecut Never Ending Rectangles at the right side to create a window. Set aside for now.

Step 4 – Diecut Never Ending Rectangles using Acetate. This will be one die up in size from the die used to create the window from Step 3. Diecut 2 Never Ending Rectangles to create the frame using Gold Metallic Cardstock. Diecut Wood Grain Framed Diamond Wire using Gold Metallic Cardstock. This will be trimmed down to fit the window. You can diecut it using the Never Ending Rectangles.

Step 5 – Adhere the Wood Grain Framed Diamond Wire on the top side of the Acetate then adhere to the top side of the Panel created from Step 3. Adhere the frame all using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Turn the Panel around and apply Foam Tape (2 layers) to the entire panel except the window. Place the piece of the panel that was used to diecut the window and adhere it to the card front where the window will be. Add the Chickadee Sprinkles on the top of the card front where the panel piece is. Remove the release sheets on the Foam Tape and apply it to the card front.

Step 6 – Diecut Crafter Essentials Fall (tree) using Brown Cardstock and adhere to the card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 7 – Stamp Thanksgiving Gnome (turkey and leaves) using Gina K Amalgam Ink. Colour in using alcohol markers of your choice. I used Spectrum Noir Classique Markers. Fussy cut the images and adhere to card using Foam Tape.

This card was so much fun to make and it has already received many laughs. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
