Christmas in July Shaker Card Series 2/2 By Meghan Kennihan

Hi Crafty Friends,

Have you started your Christmas cards? It’s Christmas in July everywhere, what are you waiting for? Let me help, I have got another fun post for you today to inspire your Christmasy creations! I made two shaker cards using the wonderful dies, sequins, and sprinkles at Kat Scrappiness! This is the second, if you missed the first one head here! Also, head to my blog for a GIVEAWAY!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:

Q: What is your favorite reindeer?

A: Me? I like Blitzen, because in my mind he is FAST and I’m a runner and love going fast!

Here is the step by step to this fun shaker!

First, I die cut the frame using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle Die, I die cut the larger one first then I nested the next size down in the middle and die cut it again. I used the same paper as my base. Next, I added the acetate and foam tape to create my shaker piece.

Then I die cut the DARLING Kat Scrappiness Woodland Reindeer Die Cut using the same cardstock and inked the edges with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet in and added some sparkle with wink of stella.

I finished the shaker by filling it with FUN, Kat Scrappiness Sugarplum Fairies Sequin Mix  and Kat Scrappiness White Snowflake Sprinkles

I hope you enjoyed both shakers! And head to the Kat Scrappiness Store to get yourself some of these awesome dies, sequins, and sprinkles! Use the links below and put in code MEGHAN for 10% off!
