Hello everyone! As our Christmas projects are winding down it’s time to start thinking about the New Year. Kat has a great Happy New Year Brush Script Die that is perfect for creating quick and easy cards or projects for your upcoming celebration.
I’ve showcased how I used this die several different ways below. These are all super simple projects that won’t take you any time at all to create, but will add that extra special touch to your New Year celebration. An elegant card or wine tag would add the perfect finishing touch to your hostess gift. I used the same process to make both.
This die would also be perfect to create cupcake toppers by simply attaching it to a sucker stick. It’s a great way to dress up your treats to coordinate with the rest of your New Years décor.
To create the wine tag I started out using the smallest of the Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Circle Dies for the hole.
I added a scalloped detail along the bottom edge using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, which can also be found at KatScrappiness.com.
After that it’s as simple as adding the die to your base, along with some metallic thread or twine, and a few scattered sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! As always the supplies I used are linked below. I would like to wish you a very happy, healthy, and joyful New Year!
