Happy first day of summer to those in the Northern Hemisphere. Feels like its been summer for a couple of weeks here in Oklahoma. Today I have a fun birthday shaker card mixing some old and new products from the Kat Scrappiness shop.
Here is how I created the card:
- Die cut the medium size A2 reverse scallop die from white card stock
- Die cut two of the Waves Border dies from two shades of blue card stock
- Die cut the Life Under the Sea dies from green card stock
- Adhere the blue waves to the back of the reverse scallop border
- Adhere a piece of clear acetate to the back of this panel
- Cut a piece of blue card stock for the background of the shaker panel
- Add foam adhesive to the back of the scalloped panel
- I adhered some of the Under the Sea foliage to the blue panel and some to the front panel to give it a little more dimension
- I added the following sprinkles – Fish, Here Fishy Fishy, Baby Shark
- Adhere the back blue back panel to create the shaker panel
- Cut a piece of green polka dot paper from the Rainbow Dreams paper pad
- Adhere green polka dot paper and shaker panel to card base
Thanks for stopping by.
