Hello Friends Waleska here again with another post as the March Guest Designer!!! A new week is here and among all the crazyness in the world, I propose we get busy inside our homes doing something we enjoy…. for most of us is cardmaking right? So today my idea is to use some of our loved embellishments and have fun!!!
For my first card I wanted to incorporate the new and so fun Pastel Bunny Tails in a different way not just as bunny tails. So I die cut a wavy frame and I ink blend the frame with oxide inks in colors spun sugar and cracked pistachio, I added some water for more texture.
I adhere the Bunny Tails in colors Green and Pink with glossy accents around the frame. I finally added the Happy Easter with Shadow die in white to stand out from all the other colors. How fun and full of texture is this card!!!
For my second card I also wanted to use some of my big beautiful Easter embellishments in a different way, I usually use them for shakers but I want them to stand out more in my card this time so I decided to do that by die cutting an egg shape and adhere them around it, mixing all the beautiful colors. The embellishmets I used where from the Chicken or Egg sequin mix and the Easter Egg Hunt sequin mix.
I adhere the cute chicks and the colorful eggs with a strong adhesive like glossy accents and I die cut a bow from the Crafters Essentials Easter Edition matching the colors from the embellishments and also the Brushed Script Easter Blessing word die, such a fun, colorful card with lots of Easter details.
Have an Amazing Day!!!
