Hello Crafters! It’s Caren here on the blog today sharing a mini slimline card using a variety of Kat Scrappiness products

Here are the steps to create this mini slimline card:
- Die cut from gray card stock the word Hello My Crafty Friend die
- Die cut from vellum the shadow die from Hello My Crafty Friend die
- Adhere the gray words to the vellum with liquid adhesive
- Die cut from white card stock the largest Mini Slimline Distressed Edge die
- Use a stencil and distress ink on the distressed edge panel
- Stamp various images from the Crafters Gonna Craft stamp set
- Cover slimline card base with pattern paper – I found this fun corkboard paper in my stash
- Adhere the distressed edge panel to the card base using dimensional foam adhesive
- Adhere the words to the panel using liquid adhesive
- Add a few Marshmallow pearls to finish the card

Hello My Crafty Friend
Hello everyone!

It’s Donna here sharing a slimline card using the newly released “Hello My Crafty Friend” word die with shadow. This word die is perfect to send to one of your crafty friends. The words can also be used separately if you wanted to. This is a great die to have in your stash.

Here are the steps to create this card:
- Cut the White Slimline Card Base: 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″).
- Top layer is cut using the Zig Zag Nesting Slimline Dies.
- Die cut the rainbow using the Slimline Rainbow die with Starlights Jewel and Bright slimline paper.
- Die cut the Hello My Crafty Friend word die with shadow.
- Stamped and cut the crafty elements from the Crafters Gonna Craft Stamp set. Colored them with copics.
- Assembled the card and finished off with adding white stars from the Black & White Star Sprinkles.

I love the simplicity of this card by Adam. He used the Zigzag Nesting Slimline die and die-cut the card stock in different colors to create his design. He added the Brush Script “hello” and black enamel dots to finish his design. Simple and elegant!

I love this shaker card by Kathy. She used the Cross-Stitched Nesting Slimline dies to create the frame on her shaker card using a mix of the new sprinkles, and added the Santa from the Christmas Gnomes stamp set and Merry Christmas with Shadow.

The second card below was shared on the blog earlier this week, showcasing the Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp set and Zig-zag Nesting Slimline dies.

A crafty card by Lisa, showcasing the Zig-Zag Nesting Slimline die, Distressed Edge Nesting Slimline dies and the Crafter’s Gonna Craft stamp set. Perfect card for a crafty friend!

MARIA RUSSELL

My first card was created by die-cutting the Cross-Stitched Slimline panel on white card stock. I used the Everyday Brush Strokes stamp set and stamped the image a few times in rainbow order. Finishing the design by adding the “you” from the Thank You with Shadow die and Sparkling Clear Droplets sampler pack for added texture.

I used the Zig-Zag Nesting Slimline die as well as the Zig-zag rectangle dies to adorn the background for my Thanksgiving Gnomes. The berries came from the Happy Fall Y’all stamp set. I wanted to use a funny sentiment (available at the shop) from Riley & Co. called Vegetarian Cling Stamp that I thought went perfectly with this scene. It makes me laugh!

Martha shared her blog post yesterday on how she created this card, using the Zig-zag Nesting Slimline die and the Owl Envelope Art stamp set.

Let’s Get Crafty

Hello Crafty Peeps,

We are making a colorful shaker card with a bit of a twist. Instead of the shaker in the middle of the card it is the frame of the card that is the shaker!

First, is stamping the card front. Using the sentiment and the squiggles from the Kat Scrappiness stamp set Crafters Gonna Craft line up the images and stamp. I used three squiggles because it filled the card nicely. I then stamped and cut out three markers from the stamp set and colored the tips to match the squiggles.

Next I used the Kat Scrappiness Never Ending Rectangle dies to cut a frame for the card center and another frame for the outside edge of the shaker card. These were cut from black card stock.

The markers are attached to the card center matching colors. Any marker hanging off the card is snipped off. The frame was attach.

The other black frame is adhered to the Kat Scrappiness A-2 Acetate Sheet. Next the center card front is attached to the center of the acetate layer.

Using foam tape along the entire edge of the card (backside of the card front under the frame) place foam tape. Place a second row of foam tape around the center card creating a trough for the shaker elements. I used Kat Scrappiness Cake Sprinkles for my shaker bits. These bits were placed into the trough.

Final step is to attach the card front with shaker bits to the card base.

Cool Cat Shaker

Hi Crafting Friends, this is Adam and this is my first blog post for Kat Scrappiness. I am very excited to share my creations with you all using the great products from Kat Scrappiness. I love clean and simple designs and trying various art techniques. Today I have made a shaker card using products from the new release.

Start this card by die cutting the Kat Scrappiness Bamboo Backdrop Die and adhering it to white card stock. Next Create a Polaroid picture frame using the KS Never Ending Rectangle Dies. Cut the bamboo background to fit behind the frame.

Stamp the cat and sunglasses from the Waffle Flower “Be Her” stamp set and color them.

Stamp the scissors and two markers from the KS Crafters Gonna Craft stamp set and color them. Cut a rectangle out of green card stock and snip two corners off and punch a hole to create a tag. On the tag stamp sentiment and emboss using Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder.

Adhere the bamboo background onto card base. Attach the KS A-2 acetate sheet cut to size to the back of the photo frame. Use foam tape on back/edge of photo frame to create shaker space. Fill shaker area with KS Multi-Color Paw Print Sprinkles and attach card base.

Final step is to attach the cat, scissors, markers and tag to the shaker frame. I did add a twine bow to the tag to complete the card.

3×3 Card Gift Set
Hi everyone, happy Friday! Have you seen all the new Kat Scrappiness products that were released this month – so many great dies and a wonderful craft themed stamp set. I’ve made a set of 3×3 cards with some of the new products released. These sets are quick and easy to make and are great to give out as gifts.

The first two cards use the new Stitched Scalloped Border dies by Kat Scrappiness and sentiments from the Crafters Gonna Craft stamp set by Kat Scrappiness. I embossed the sentiments using Versamark ink and WOW embossing powders. I used a few Clear Jewels by Kat Scrappiness on the first card and Birthday Confetti Sequins by Kat Scrappiness on the second card.

For the second two cards, I used the second largest heart from Stitched Scalloped Heart dies by Kat Scrappiness. I then die cut the words friend and happy from the Scripty “Hello My Crafty Friend” die by Kat Scrappiness. I cut each work out three times and layered them to give it a little dimension. I used a Pretty Pink Jewel by Kat Scrappiness to “dot” the i in friend.

Happiness Is Handmade…

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the Kat Scrappiness Blog! Today I have a quick tutorial showing you how I have created this fabulous crafty card using some amazing products from Kat Scrappiness.

To get started, I first used the two biggest dies from the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies by Kat Scrappiness to die cut two card panels.

Next, I used the second largest heart from the newly released Stitched Scalloped Heart Dies by Kat Scrappiness and die cut a black heart. Using the new Crafters Gonna Craft 4″x 6″ Clear Stamp Set by Kat Scrappiness, I stamped the “Happiness is Handmade” sentiment onto my die cut heart using Tsukineko Versamark Clear Embossing Ink and heat embossed it using Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.

I then stamped a few of the crafty stamps from the Crafters Gonna Craft 4″ x 6″ Clear Stamp Set by Kat Scrappiness in various positions on my white die cut card panel using Tsukineko Versamark Clear Embossing Ink and heat embossed them using Hero Arts – Detail Black Embossing Powder.

Now for the fun part…… I decided that I wanted to add color to my stamped images but couldn’t decide if I wanted to use markers, colored pemcils, etc., so I decided to pull out my Coliro Artist Mica Pearl Watercolor Paints by Finetec and have some fun!

Once everything was painted and dried, it was time to add some bling (cause what is a crafty card if there is no bling?!?!). I used these amazing White Jewels from Kat Scrappiness and added a few to the scalloped heart sentiment using my favorite crafty glue, Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

And there you have it…..my completed crafty card!! I can’t wait to send this off to one of my dear crafty friends.

I Craft Therefore I Hoard

Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are all having a great week so far. Maria here with you today and I am back to share with you two card samples showcasing the new Crafter’s Gonna Craft stamp set, with the new Stitched Scalloped Collage Frame Die.

I have been super busy traveling for the last few weeks that I don’t have a step-by-step instruction for you. If you are a card maker or a scrapbooker, you would have figured out how I made the cards already but I apologize if you are a beginner. Please know that once I am back on a regular schedule, I will have a step-by-step tutorial or even a YouTube video. I promise! Here’s my first simple, one-layer card:

My second card just cracks me up! If you are a crafter, I am sure you can relate with the sentiment.

Isn’t it true though? I am such a hoarder. I collect anything and everything that I can use for a future project, it drives my husband nuts! I didn’t realize how much hoarding I’ve been doing until it was time to pack up most of my craft supplies to move it all back to my home in Florida, USA.

I also LOVE the new sparkling jewels at the shop. They come in different colors but my favorite is the clear, sparkling one that I used on my project. I prefer adhering it flat-side up and I think it gives more shine.
