  • Mini Slimline cards – Miss You and Thinking of You!

    Hello everyone!

It’s Donna here and I have two cards to share using the PinkFresh Studios stencil Choose Hop.  I am using a few of Kat Scrappiness products such as the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped Dies and , the word friend is from the Scripty “Hello My Crafty Friend” Die and the sentiment is from the Quokka’n Up Stamp Set.  My second card I am using the Mini Slimline Cross Stitched Dies and the sentiment is from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set.

Here are my cards I created using the Kat Scrappiness, Inc. products.
    1.  My first card, I used two colors of pink and two colors of green on the PinkFresh Studios stencil Choose Hop.  I used my Misti to line the dies up since I was making a mini slimline card.  This stencil has five pieces, it is very easy to do this.
    2.  I die cut the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped die and adhered it to the top folding card base.
    3.  I die cut the friend from the Hello My Crafty Friend Die, this die is very versatile because the words are separated so you don’t have to use all the words.  I placed the friend word onto my card and adhered it with liquid glue.
    4.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Quokka’n Up Stamp Set.
    5.  I finished off my card by adding some Transparent pink Heart droplets.
My second card I did the same steps as I did above, this card I used the Mini Slimline Cross Stitched Dies and the sentiment is from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set.
Thank you for stopping by, please come back tomorrow for more inspiration!

  • Quokka’n Up!

    Hello everyone!

It’s Donna here sharing this adorable slimline card I created using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Peek-a-boo slimline die.  The stamp set I am using is the Kat Scrappiness Quokka’n Up stamp set.

My slimline card measures 3 1/2 x 8 1/4, I die cut the Stitched Peek-a-boo slimline die using Kat Scrappiness Heartfelt Wishes slimline pattern paper. I decided not to have use the peek-a-boo part of the die, I wanted these cut quokka’s standing in front.  I added some solid cardstock behind the panel and adhered it to the base of my card.  I stamped the quokka’s from the Kat Scrappiness Quokka’n Up stamp set and colored them with copics.  I then heat embossed the sentiments from the  Kat Scrappiness Quokka’n Up stamp set and used foam squares to pop them up onto my card.  To finish off my card, I used the Kat Scrappiness Heart Sprinkles to the card.
Here is a closer look at the card.
Here is a picture of most of the supplies I used.  I love the Stitched Peek-a-boo slimline die, I will have to create another card soon, using this die.

Just a reminder, the Spring sale is going on right now until March 14th!

    Spring Sale at Kat Scrappiness!

My first card, is a mini slimline card which measures 3 x 6, I then die cut the Kat Scrappiness slimline Diamond Wire & Wood Grain die.  I used some design paper behind the slimline die and adhered everything together.  I then used some distress inks to color the tulips, leaves and bow from the Tulip Bouquet Die Set.  I adhered everything together to create the bouquet and added it to my card.  I then die cut the Kat Scrappiness Brush Script Happy Easter word die and colored it with distress inks and adhered it to the card.  To finish off the card I used the Kat Scrappiness Gold Sequin cross at the base of the bouquet.

Here is another look of the card.

My next card I created using the Kat Scrappiness Happy Easter Bunny clear stamp set.  I love this stamp set, it measures 3×4, but makes an adorable card.  My card is a top folding slimline card.  I masked off the top layer and added some distress inks.  I die cut this with Kat Scrappiness mini slimline Embossed Edge Die.  I then stamped the the image from the Happy Easter Bunny clear stamp set.  I also stamped the image again, I colored the ears and feet with copics and then fuzzy cut them out and used foam squares and popped them up onto the card.  I finished the card off by adding some Kat Scrappiness Quokka Love Enamel Dots.
