    Here is a little inspiration from me to get you started! I used the Crafter’s Essentials Fall Dies, Happy Pumpkin Sprinkles, and Hocus Pocus Sequin Mix. Grab these amazing dies and sequins FAST because they will sell out!

    I created my background using Wilted Violet and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Ink and splattered in with water.

    I die cut all the different shaped dies out of plain cardstock and inked the edges in Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.

     I added my stitched rectangle frame to the Kat Scrappiness AMAZING Acetate Sheets and trimmed around the edges.

    I added my shaker pieces to the center and glued my scene onto the front of the Kat Scrappiness Acetate!

    Then I put it all together and a fun Halloween Shaker Scene appeared!

    I wanted to get you inspired for the SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE:  SEQUINS & SPRINKLES with this fun candy card using Sweet Candy Sprinkles and 3mm Clear Confetti Dots!

     

    I started my card by creating the candy pieces using a Kat Scrappiness Stitched Circle Die and cutting out three circles.

     

     

    Next, I added my Kat Scrappiness Acetate sheet to the back of the panel and added foam tape around each circles so that they would each be their own shaker.

     

     I die cut the little wrappers using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Flag Dies in two sizes using pink and white vellum.

     

     

     I added my sprinkles and sequins to the centers and put my panel on my base. Then I glued the little flag dies on the edges of the candy pieces to look just like wrappers.

     

     

     I finished my card by stamping the sentiments on my panel and drawing the smiley faces on my candy!

    Time for the AUGUST CHALLENGE: BACK TO SCHOOL!

    It’s that time of year! We would love to see your Back to School Creations! Here is my inspiration to get you started.

     I started this card with my “apple” shape hexagon for my shaker. I die cut the inside with a smaller hexagon to make the “frame”. Then added my acetate and foam tape around the frame.

     Next, I stamped the faces and the sentiment on my apples and the fishtail banner dies by Kat Scrappiness.

    I added my apple sprinkles and confetti dots to the center of the apple paper and placed my hexagon on top to create my shaker. I added a stem and leaf to make it look like a real apple. I assembled all the pieces and a perfect card to kiss up to your teacher!

    That brings us to the April Challenge.

    What better way to welcome Spring than with some

    beautiful pastel colors?

     This month let’s pull out all of our pretty pastel ink pads and markers and have some fun!

    Why not try some light and beautiful water coloring on your card?

    I decided to make a card this month to start you off and give you some

    inspiration for your pastel projects.

    I created an eclipse card in some pretty pastel

    colors and I used the brand new

    He Is Risen dies for the focal point.

    My card features several products available at Kat Scrappiness,

    some old and some new.

    Monthly Card Challenge at Kat Scrappiness

    I’m sure most of you are well on your way to making your holiday cards, but if you haven’t started yet don’t worry!  Now’s your chance and Kat Scrappiness is here to help!
