    We’re a Perfect Pair!

    Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a fun card perfect for a close friend or spouse who loves movies using the recently released Popcorn Dies from Kat Scrappiness. After all, what goes better with a movie than hot, buttery popcorn?

    I used Kat’s new Popcorn Box Shaker Craft Dies, A2 Filmstrip Die, Movie Night Sprinkles, and Dimensional Cheesy Popcorn to make today’s card.

    Card Details:

    • Created an A2 top-folding white card base. 
    • Embossed white cardstock with a brick pattern and adhered it to the front of the card.
    • Assembled the popcorn box using the Kat Scrappiness new Popcorn dies and red, white, and yellow card stocks.
    • Created the filmstrip shaker by adhering clear acetate to the back of the film strip die cut, outlining the edges with double sided foam tape, and then filling it with Movie Night Sprinkles and Classic Red Dots.

    • Sealed the shaker closed using a strip of black cardstock on the back.
    • Adhered all elements to the front of the card.



    • White heat embossed the sentiment “We’re a perfect pair” from the Punny Snacks stamp set (now on Clearance!) onto a strip of black cardstock before foam mounting it over the popcorn box and filmstrip.

    Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a fun and feminine “Get Well” card. Whether it’s a big “boo-boo”or a small one, everyone appreciates a “shaker hug.”

    I used the Kat Scrappiness A2 Filmstrip Die, Get Well Soon Shadow Sentiment Die, the Boo Boo Be Gone Sprinkle Mix, and Carnation Pink Dots to make today’s card.

  • Life’s a Beach; Enjoy the Waves

    Life’s a Beach; Enjoy the Waves

    Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. It’s heating up here in the desert and thoughts of a cool beach with crashing waves are circulating in my head. Today I am sharing a summer-themed beach card perfect for multiple occasions . . . birthdays, vacations, retirements , etc. Just stamp the inside of the card with a sentiment suitable for the event.

    I used the Kat Scrappiness A2 Waterside Craft Die and Stitched Dolphin Die Set to make today’s card.

    Card Details:

    • Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
    • Die cut all the elements of a beach scene out of white cardstock using the A2 Waterside Craft Die.
    • Inked the pieces up using various shades of Distress Oxides inks.

    • “Built” the beach scene following the lines of the die as a guide and adhered them to the front of the card.

    • Die cut one of the dolphins from the Stitched Dolphin Die Set and sponged it with gray Distress Oxide ink before foam mounting it to the front of the card.

    Did Someone Say Catnip?

    Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a fun card for the cat lover in your life! This adorable feline perks up with the mention of catnip even though she just devoured a hearty meal of fish! LOL!

    I used the Kat Scrappiness Pawsome Cats stamp and die set and a coordinating Sentiment stamp set and dies to make today’s card.

    Card Details:

    • Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
    • Dry embossed yellow cardstock with paw prints and adhered it over the card base. Kat Scrappiness has a paw print background die that will give you a similar look.
    • Used white modeling paste and the Kat Scrappiness Ball of Yarn stencil to create a backdrop on navy card stock.

  • I “Sea” It’s Your Birthday!

    I “Sea” It’s Your Birthday!

    Happy Thursday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a sea-themed birthday card featuring several Kat Scrappiness  products. In addition, I created a blended back drop to set off an adorable seal image using several shades of blue Distress Oxide inks.

    I used the Kat Scrappiness Friends Under the Sea stamp set and Life Under the Sea craft dies to make today’s card.

    Card Details:

    • Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
    • Added a black cardstock layer over the card base.
    • Taped off a white piece of cardstock to create an area to blend 3 shades of blue Distress Oxide inks plus black.

    • Die cut two seaweed plants using the Life Under the Sea craft dies and white cardstock and adhered to the bottom left side of the blue stripe.

    But First . . .  Freebies!

    Happy Monday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from the Kat Scrappiness Design Team. Today I am sharing an Easter card using three die sets from the new Kat Scrappiness  Easter Release. Follow along to see how I made this adorable card!

    I used the new Kat Scrappiness Carrot Fun, Easter Wishes & a Bushel of Bunnies, and Tuck It In die sets to make today’s cards.

    Card Details:

    • Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
    • Dry embossed a leafy pattern on white cardstock and blended green Distress Oxide Ink over it and adhered it to the white card base.
    • Die cut the 4 carrots from the Kat Scrappiness new Carrot Fun Die Set using orange and green cardstocks.
    • Lightly sponged Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink on the edges of the carrots and leaves.

    •  Die cut the garden dirt using vintage patterned paper and the new Tuck It In dies, including the 3 “holes” for the carrots.

    • To create a high gloss appearance to the sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment using “WOW Clear Gloss Ultra High Embossing Powder”.

    • Adhered the sentiment beloved the planted carrots at the base of the card.

    Hello friends and welcome to the Kat Scrappiness Sparkle & Shimmer Release!

    We are SO very excited to share this new product release with you today! We’ve been working on these new products for MONTHS and MONTHS and finally get to share them with you!  We are introducing a new line of mixed media products, along with some more glitter LOOKING paper pads, new shaker card kits and a new polaroid craft die that is super fun!  Our mixed media products include our very own glitter MOUSSE that is so beautiful and fun and easy to work with! It’s sparkly, light and airy and dries fast! I know you will absolutely love it!

    Our pearl powders are shimmery and gorgeous! Similar to perfect pearls but ours cost less and you get more in each container! We are also releasing a few other products as well that we hope you will love using in your craft room! Please feel free to let us know what you think of this new product line!
