    Happy Halloween

Hello friends.  Hope everyone had a great long weekend.  I love making Halloween cards.  Today, I’m sharing one using items from the latest release.

I started the card by using distress ink and blending brushes to ink up the background.  It’s hard to see in the photo, but I sprayed the background with shimmer spray.  I stamped the Dress Up Quokka and Dress Up Quokka Halloween stamp sets, colored them with Copics, and used the coordinating dies to die cut them.

For the sentiment, I ink blended with green and purple distress inks on white card stock and die cut with the Happy Halloween w/Shadow die cut.  I used one of the Zig Zag border dies to cut out a hill from black cardstock.  I adhered everything to the card base to complete the card.

    Creepy Crawlies and Boo-gy Ghosts

Hello Crafty Friends!  Donna W. from Duncan Street Designs sharing a card created using new products from the Kat Scrappiness September 2021 Release.  Before we get to my card, I want to remind everyone of the Labor Day Sale at the Kat Scrappiness Store.  There are 2 days left to enjoy 15% off sitewide, including New Release items!

My card is A2 in size and features the new release products Creepy Crawly Die SetBoo-gy Ghost Die SetHappy Halloween Word Die with ShadowBoo To You Slimline Paper Pack and the Boo-Tacular Sequin Mix.

I’m in seasonal crafting mode and this card was fun to design.  I love Autumn and Christmas crafting time and enjoy creating cute Halloween cards.  This card was a quick and easy make as the focal images are die cuts and I used my healthy scrap stash for them.
I love the brightly colored papers in the Boo to You Slimline Paper Pack.  Although, the paper is slimline sized, you can easily for A2 sized projects.  I couldn’t resist using Googly Eyes, the BOO-TACULAR Sequin Mix and Wink of Stella on the Word Die for lots of sparkle and shine.  What’s more Spooktacular than a Spider with Googly Eyes and a Smiling Ghost?
I hope you’ve enjoyed the seeing all the fabulous team projects featuring new release products.  Comment below if you like to create Cute or Scary Halloween cards.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

    September Card Challenge Inspiration

Hello there everyone!  It’s Donna Idlet here and I am the host for the September Challenge.  I hope you will join in on the fun!  The challenge is to use “Bling” on your card.  All you need to do to WIN $15 is create a project with a Kat Scrappiness Product! Head to the store HERE and grab some goodies and play.  Here is my card for your inspiration

To make my card I used the Kat Scrappiness Sun Spot Background Die, I added rainbow colors of the Kat Scrappiness Rhinestones to each section on the background die.

To finish off my card, I stamped the sentiment from the Kat Scrappiness Happy Day stamp set with versamark and added white embossing powder and heat set it.  I added some rhinestones around the sentiment so it would stand out.
