    Creative Crew’s 2022 Holiday Gift Guide

    Hello my favorite peeps! Kathy here! Do you have some crafty friends that you need a gift (or two) for? Well it’s time for the Kat Scrappiness Creative Crew’s 2022 Gift Giving Guide. Today I am sharing my top five Kat Scrappiness products with you and I am sure you will see why I love these products! Make sure you subscribe to the Kat Scrappiness Blog and YouTube channel so you can see all of my teammates favorites. Let’s get started!

    Here is my TOP FIVE list, some are older products and some are more recent. I will also share some creations using the products!

    Number 1-Stitched Cloud Backdrop die

    This is the perfect background die for all of your scenes and the stitched clouds are beautiful! Here is a card featuring this product.

     

    Number 2-A2 Waterside die

    This one die sets the stage for your whole card. Cut it a couple times from different colored card stock and create an amazing inlaid die card. Couple it with the Summer Essentials (another favorite!) and you have any beach scene you want to create! Here’s an example for you

    Number 3-Pawsome Cat Stamps & Coordinating dies

    I have to admit, I am not a cat person and while the Pawsome Dog stamps and dies are amazing, these PAWSOME CATSare so much fun to create with. These stamps are full of “catitude” and if you have a cat you know what I mean! The sentiments are a hoot! Here are a few cards I created with the Pawsome Cat line.

    Number 4-Nesting stitched Dome dies

    I LOVE these nesting dies (and I told you I loved these cats!). The Nesting Stitched Dome Dies create a perfect focal point. You can combine them like I did below to create a frame or you can stack the frames to create a shaker element. You can even create a card base with the largest of the dies. Just partially cut the left edge of a folded piece of card stock.

    Number 5-3d Pop-Up Box Die

    Who doesn’t love an interactive card? I especially love them when they are SO easy to create! With the 3D Pop-Up Boxdies it is EASY! There are also add-ons you can buy for grass and hills (used below) but honestly…ADORABLE. At this point you are probably thinking I should get a cat because once again-Pawsome Cats!

    Best Day Ever Mini Slimline Card

    Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. With the time change and colder weather coming I decided I wanted a cheerful card. I used the Mason Jar Shaker Dies along with the Summer Vibes and Hop Into Easter Paper Pad to create this happy card. I love how it turned out. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

    Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7″ x 6″, score at 3 1/2″ and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

    Step 2 – Trim Hop Into Easter Paper Pad to 3 1/2″ x 6″ and adhere to card front using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

    Step 3 – Diecut Mason Jar Shaker using Summer Vibes for the back of the shaker, the back of the lemon and lime, back for the strawberry. Hop Into Easter for the front of the shaker. White Cardstock for the straw and top of the lemon and lime. Trim Mini Slimline Acetate to slightly larger than the window and adhere to the back side of the front shaker diecut and then adhere foam tape. Add Citrus Twist Sprinkles. Remove the release sheet from the foam tape and adhere the back diecut to seal in the sprinkles. Adhere to card front using Bearly Art Precision Glue. Assemble the lemon, lime, strawberry and adhere to the card.

    Step 4 – Stamp Simple Sentiments using Versafine Onyx Black Ink on White Cardstock. Diecut with the matching die. You now have many sentiments for future cards. Select the sentiment of your choice and adhere to card front using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

    This card can be used for several occasions by changing the colors and/or sentiments. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

    I absolutely LOVE this stamp set. It is so versatile and not to mention just too cute. Here are a few cards I made using this adorable stamp set.

    Next is the  Layered Balloon Coverplate

    This coverplate makes making birthday cards so easy. You can also use this coverplate for other occasions like the baby card I created.

    Next on my list is this beautiful Under the Sea Coverplate.

    This coverplate is so beautiful and makes your summer creations so easy. Here is a card I made using this gorgeous coverplate.

    Next on my list is the Pawsome Love Backdrop Die

    I just love this backdrop die. It works perfectly for your pet cards. Here is a card I made using this fabulous product.

     

    Lastly is the fun 3D Pop Up Box Die

    This die makes 3D creations so easy to make. You can also purchase add ons to this die. Check those out HERE.

    Hello crafty friends!  Kim, here today, sharing my nominations to the Creative Crew’s 2022 Holiday Gift Guide!  Make sure to check back throughout the month, as the entire Design Team will be sharing their favorites here on the blog and over on our YouTube Channel!

    I created a list of my Top 5 Favorite Kat Scrappiness items to share with you, along with some of my favorite projects that I created using them!

    I literally love absolutely everything about the Gobble Gobble Stamp Set!  The turkeys are ridiculously cute, and the sentiments are hysterical!

    My favorite patterned paper pad is the Perk Up 6 x 8 Paper Pad. The patterns in this pad are incredibly beautiful!

    I love, love, love the A2 Quilted Cover Backdrop Die! It creates the most beautiful background panel that is so subtle and elegant.

    The In the Doghouse Dies are incredibly fun to create scenes for the dog lover in your life.

    Last, but DEFINITELY not least, are the AB Glass Bubbles.  These are my favorite embellishment to use.  They come in tons of colors and add just the right amount of somethin’ somethin’ to your projects.

    **Bonus** The Embellishment Organizer was a game changer for me!  All of my shaker bits and sequins are now stored neatly, and I can find exactly what I am looking for!

    Here is my card for your inspiration.
    My card is a Mini Slimline, Card base measuring 3 1/2 x  6.  I cut a piece of stripe paper from the Perk Up 6×8 Paper Pad and adhered it to the card base.  I die cut the Mini Slimline Heart Sunburst Die and adhered it to the card.  I die cut the coffee cup from the Cuppa Love Shaker Card Dies added acetate to the front cup and then added foam strips, added the Rootbeer Float Sequin Mix and added the back cup to the front.  Added this cup to the card.  Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder and die cut it with the coordinating die and used foam tape to add it to the card.
