    Seahorse Love

    Good morning Kat Scrappiness fans!

It’s Lisa here with you today on the blog and I have a quick and easy shaker

card to share with you using the adorable seahorse’s from the

Lawn Fawn Seahorsin’ Around stamp set.

I created the frame for the card with the Kat Scrappiness

Stitched Scalloped Heart Dies and I backed the window with some

Lawn Fawn Acetate Sheets. The pretty patterned paper in the background

is from the Sunny Studios Summer Splash Paper Pack.

The stamped sentiment behind the window is from the Lawn Fawn Wavy Sayings

To finish off my card I used some sweet 3mm Mirrored Clear Hollow Hearts

and Teal Jewels to fill my shaker heart with.

All of these fun products are available in the Kat Scrappiness store

for 10% off when you use code LISA10!

Thanks for joining me today and have a great day!

    I already am!

    Sprinkles by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here with you!

Today I am excited to share a card that I really, really like. I used some of the new sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness to create my own version of Sprinkles Card.

    Sprinkles by Martha Lucia

Normally we use the sprinkles to create shaker cards, but the fabulous and unique designs from Kat Scrappiness inspire to use them in other options or ways. My card is a rainbow Happy Birthday Card or Sprinkles card.

The first thing that I made, was to cut from whisper white card stock the large zig zag stitched rectangle die. I love how look these stitches and triangles in my cards. Then, I used a rainbow die cut to create the template of the rainbow arcs and pasted Flower Sprinkles following the rainbow lines. I used four different colors of Flower Sprinkles: Red, Pink, Blue and Purple.

    Sprinkles by Martha Lucia

To paste the flowers, I used On Point Glue and the process was really simple. At the end when I was totally satisfied with the look, I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment with Memento Grape Jelly.

Easy and fun to make. Plus another way to use the sprinkles!

    Thanks for stopping by!

    See you soon, Martha Lucia.

    SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLL!

Hey there Kat Scrappiness fans, It’s Lisa here with you on the blog today and we are going to

    SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLL!

For those of you who don’t know, Kat Scrappiness has a HUGE assortment of

Sequins and Sprinkles and the collection has recently expanded!

Today I wanted to share 1 card and 3 tags with you using 7 different varieties

of sequins and sprinkles from the shop!

Look at those fun sequins and sprinkles!!  Honestly the possibilities are endless!

Let me show you what I made with those beauties!

The first project is a card I made for my Mom’s birthday.

She is a huge fan of cupcakes….. the cuter the better!

The Lawn Fawn Stitched Cupcake Dies were the perfect dies to use for her card.

The Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Square Dies were the perfect dies to create the
frame for this shaker tag. For the clear portion behind the frame I used the
Lawn Fawn Acetate Sheets. Once the frame was made I filled it with the
To complete the sentiment on my card I used the Sweet Word Sentiment Die.
I die cut it out of pink paper and backed it in another layer cut with brown
paper to give it a matted look and make it stand out more.

I loved adding the second layer on the cupcakes to make it look like the frosting

was dripping down.  My mom LOVED her card and I LOVED making it for her!

The next 3 projects are shaker tags that I made using more of the fun

sprinkles and sequins from the shop.

Since I couldn’t get enough of those cute Lawn Fawn Stitched Cupcake Dies,

I made a tag using the cupcake and I cut the frame out using some Doodlebug

patterned paper from the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag Dies.

I stamped the sentiment in pink and yellow ink from the Lawn Fawn Tiny Tag Sayings

stamp set inside my shaker tag. I love how the sentiments are hidden by the shaker bits

until you shake them out of the way!

For this shaker tag I used the Sweet Candy Sprinkles and the Cupcake Sprinkles to fill it up with.

I also added some Pink Solid Confetti Mix to the outside front of the shaker tag.

The last 2 tags I have to share with you are from a fun planner meet up that my daughter

Taylor hosted recently.  They decided to do a make and take project and thanks to

Mona Toth, I had the idea to dress up mini mason jar cups with a sweet shaker tag!

You can see Mona’s sweet project on Instagram here.

These sweet tags were made using the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies for the frame

and some vellum for the base.  To fill these 2 tags I used some glitter and Watermelon Sprinkles

on one and some Pink Flower Sprinkles in the other.

To decorate the fronts of these tags I used the Lawn Fawn “Flamingo Together” stamp set

and the Lawn Fawn Aloha Stamp and Die Set for the pineapple and sunglasses.

The girls had a great time making these tags and everybody took their creations home

to enjoy! Here is a link to the Instagram post with all of the pictures from the event.

Oh So Cute By Lisa Instagram

Here’s my little secret……. we had a very dear friend of Kat’s at our little meet up

to make a shaker tag and have some fun with us!

My second little secret is that Taylor made the second tag with

the Pink Flower Sprinkles and she had a lot of fun doing it!

All the girls had a blast using their very own mixture of different sequins and shakers!

WHEW! That was a long post with lots of pictures but I had so much to share

with you!  I hope I have inspired you to do a little

    SHAKING, RATTLING AND ROLLING YOURSELF!

There are certainly enough shaker bits to choose from in the Kat Scrappiness

store to make some fun and unique projects!

    Happy Anniversary Card

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I have an elegant Anniversary card to share with you using the Layering Nested Heart and the Stitched Scallop Heart dies. Most of us have Alcohol Ink backgrounds and if you are like me I don’t use them. Today’s card will show you how to use them. Below are the steps to create your own card. Please note that it is very hard to photograph mirror cardstock so you will see some background images in the photos.

    Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

    Step 2 – Trim Purple Mirror Cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. Adhere to card using Scor-Tape.

Step 3 – Apply Alcohol Blending Solution onto yupo paper in drops and swirls. Shake thoroughly and apply drops of Alcohol Pearl Inks. Tilt the paper to let the ink move. Add more Alcohol Blending Solution and Alcohol Pearl Inks until you reach the desired effect. Just before it completely dries place a sheet of Wild Dandelion Foiling on top of the alcohol background. Use your finger to press it to maximize the foiling to the alcohol background. Remove and repeat in sections. Let completely dry. This takes a few hours.

Step 4 – Diecut Stitched Scallop Heart using Gold Mirror Cardstock. Adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – Diecut Layering Nested Heart using the background created in Step 3. Adhere to card front using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 6 – Diecut Happy Father’s Day (try using just the word Happy) using Gold Mirror Cardstock. Trim the excess word so you are just left with Happy. Adhere to card using Collage Medium.

Step 7 – Stamp sentiment on Red Mirror Cardstock using Versamark. Sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder and remove the excess. Heat set it with a heat tool. A reminder to apply an anti static powder tool before adding the versamark to prevent the embossing powder adhering to areas where you don’t want it. Trim the sentiment and adhere to card using foam tape.

This card can be used for any occasion by changing the colors, the shape of the dies and sentiment. To receive 10% off your order use code: TINA10 at checkout. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

“Sour” You? | A Shaker Card with Kat Scrappiness Sprinkles

Hey Crafters! Priscilla here!  Today I’ll be showing you a mouth-watering ice-cold glass of sparkling lemonade . . . perfect for the hot summer days ahead here in Chicago where I live. Except you can’t drink this one . . . cuz it’s on the front of a card. LOL! This shaker card showcases several of the new sprinkles in the Kat Scrappiness shop. Can you tell that yellow is my favorite color?

To create this shaker card, I used Kat‘s new “Lemon Slice Sprinkles,” “Yellow Star Sprinkles,” and even a few “Sparkling Clear Droplets” for the ice cubes!

(Click on each photo above to go right to the link in Kat’s shop.)

I “shopped my stash” for this card and found a glass tumbler and lemon stamped images to color and cut out using my Brother “Scan N Cut” machine. I “filled” the glass tumbler with all these sprinkles before adhering the die cut shaker frame (with acetate) over it.

Also from my stash, I found the perfect “tropical” patterned paper for the background, some matching fern die cuts, and the “‘Sour’ You” sentiment to adhere to the front of my card. Notice a few more “Lemon Slice Sprinkles” rising up from the lemonade!

And yeah, that’s a real drinking straw added for the finishing touch!
