    Coffee With My Gnome

Kat Scrappiness is one of 73 Super Sponsors providing prizes in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!  Yay!

To commemorate being part of this super fun hop, I created a summery coffee card…and a sneak peek of something included in the upcoming release!

For my card, I first layered kraft cardstock onto the card base.  I found this sweet sand pail and shovel pattern paper in my stash which just goes to justify hoarding pattern paper…you never know when something in that stash will be the perfect pattern to go with something you want to create!

Next, I cut thin cork for the backdrop of this summery coffee cup created with Kat Scrappiness Layered Coffee Cup Die.  And the stamped images…Summer Gnomes and Summer Gnomes Add-on stamp sets are coming tomorrow!

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the start of Kat Scrappiness newest release (psst…it’s pretty awesome!)

    Just Brew It

Hello, it’s Lisa here with you today! I’m up on the Kat Scrappiness blog with a bright and cheery coffee card! It just so happens that this week the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are celebrating their

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop and Kat Scrappiness is a returning Super Sponsor for this event!

I just love making coffee themed cards and Kat Scrappiness has a whole section in their shop with coffee related stamps, dies, sequins and more! They even have realistic looking

Coffee Beans for shaker cards or embellishments! Check these out!!!

For my card today I wanted to make a bright and cheery coffee card so I grabbed some happy Doodlebug Simply Spring patterned paper and got to work! I usually gravitate toward the color pink when I’m making cards but today the blues and yellows caught my eye. I used the Layered Coffee Cup Die and cut out the cover and koozy using the cute little bumble bee/butterfly (not sure) patterned paper. For the base of the cup I used some light blue paper and embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder.  Next I matted this happy cup on to a white panel cut with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die and another yellow plaid panel with a larger Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die. Finally I added some blue and yellow confetti around the cup using the Party Confetti Sprinkles.

I just love how this card came out, it just makes me happy!

Head over to Kat Scrappiness to check out all of these fun coffee themed products plus so much more! Lucky for you Kat is having a Memorial Day Sale through May 29th and you can save 15% sitewide using code MEMDAY2020.

Get Well Soon – Slimline Card

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Today I have a slimline Get Well Soon card that uses several dies from Kat Scrappiness.

I used both of the slimline dies – Embossed Edge and Stitched Scalloped – to cut paper from the Echo Park Spring Market collection.  I die cut the Get Well Soon sentiment from green card stock, and used that same green card stock to layer the stitched scalloped panel on.  I adhered the sentiment to the panel and used dimensional foam adhesive to layer on the larger Embossed Edge panel.  I then adhered this to my gray card base.  To finish the card I added a few clear solid sequins.

Head over to the Kat Scrappiness shop now for the Memorial Day sale – almost everything in the store is 15% off.

    Rainbows

Hi, I have been busy creating cards with my recent Kat Scrappiness shipment. I find myself returning to this adorable koala to create. Stamp set is Koala-ty Time.

I often start my card making process with the background. I used blue card stock and stamped clouds in blue.

Next I stamped the koala and sentiment. The koala was colored using Copic markers. I cut a banner and stamped the sentiment in black.

Using the rainbow panel die I cut it out in all the colors you see in order to create the rainbow. (Side note is I now have enough pieces to create this card four more times!)

Final step is to assemble all the parts onto a card base. As always I feel the need to add a few embellishments which are the pink dots.

    Foliage Frame with Dimention

Hello Friends Waleska here to share an easy and super dimentional card using only one die!!! To create this card I used the Foliage Frame Die, one of my favorite from Kat Scrappiness.

    Card Details:

To create this card I look for different tones of green cardstock and cut 3 Foliage frames from those different colors.  I used the lighter color as the front of the card, I wanted to give this card lot of dimention to do that cut and adhere the Foliage Frame dies in the back of the frame in different places for dimention.

This is how it looks from the front and the back.

All you have to do is adhere the foliage around the base in different shades of green.

This is how it looks from the front part as you can see it looks fuller and the different shades of green make it look great!

To finish this card I adhere the frame to a green card base, I adhere the sentiment across the card and put some embellishments, and that is all an easy dimentional card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today I hope you can be inspired.

Coffee Lover Card by Martha Lucia

Hi friends, Martha Lucia here! Today I have a Coffee Lover Card using the amazing die cuts from Kat Scrappiness!

It’s spring & Summer celebration for coffee lovers and I decided to create a slimline card using fresh tones of ink and one of my favorites stamp sets from Joy Clair Designs, Coffee Quotes. This stamp set is available at Kat Scrappiness Store!

I used the large size of the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline Dies and I masked the borders to add color only inside of the stitched area. On the center of the card, in vertical shape, I stamped one of the sentiments included on the Coffee Quotes stamp set with VersaFine Onix. In a separate piece of white card stock, I stamped the band aid image, included on the same stamp set, with different colors of ink. I fussy cut them edit the sentiment and pasted on top of the  main sentiment using Crafty Foam Tape.

To create the cup, I used the Layered Coffee Cup Die by Kat  Scrappiness with designer paper and white card stock. I arranged all the pieces and stamped on the center of the cup, the coffee queen image included on the Coffee Quotes Stamp Set. As final touch, some Brown Confetti Sprinkles.

Thank you for stopping by and stay in contact because in a few days we will have new products to share with you!

See you soon and happy shopping!
