    Gnome Worry, Be Happy! Card

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I am excited to share with you the new Gnome Summer Stamp Set from Kat Scrappiness. There is also the Summer Gnome Add on Stamp Set but I didn’t have it in time for this card. Below you will find the steps to create your own Gnome Worry, Be Happy! card.

    Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Place the Cloud Stencil on the card front and add Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass with an applicator to create a cloud sky.

Step 3 – Diecut Catch A Wave using Blue Cardstock. Optional add some Ink to the edges for definition. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 4 – Trim Kraft Cardstock to 2” x 4 1/4”. Using alcohol markers add speckled in various colours to create texture to the sand. Trim the top in a wavy motion. Adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 5 – Stamp Summer Gnome images using Gina K Amalgam Ink. Colour in using alcohol markers of your choice. I used Spectrum Noir Classique Markers. Fussy cut the images or use your Scan ‘N’ Cut and adhere to card. Some using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and some with Foam Tape. (I used masking paper to the man Gnome to be able to have him wear the Ducky Inner Tube).

Step 6 – Stamp Summer Gnome sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink to the bottom left of the card.

This card can be used for several occasions by changing the sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

    It’s Always Coffee Time

Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I want to share a card that features two new stamp stamp sets from Kat Scrappiness  called “Summer Gnome” and “Summer Gnome Add-On.”

I made this card in honor of the “Coffee Loving Cardmakers”  Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, of which Kat Scrappiness is a returning Super Sponsor.

For my card today, I wanted to create a relaxing beach scene, with a little bit of the “unexpected” going on in the background. Our “Lady Gnome” is quietly sipping on her iced coffee, unbeknownst to her that the giant wave behind her is about to crash onto shore. In the rarest of moments, “it’s always coffee time.” LOL!

For my ocean scene, I used a three-layer wave stamp set I had in my stash with three shades of blue distress inks. I created the sandy beach using two shades of brown distress ink and then splattered it with “Perfect Pearls.” I colored the gnome and the gnome add-ons with Spectrum Noir “Tri-blend” markers, adding some Nuvo “Crystal Glaze” on her iced coffee and sunglasses. The palm tree die was from my stash. The coffee sentiment, “It’s always coffee time” is from the Kat Scrappiness “Let’s Get Caffeinated” stamp set.

    SALE!

    Coffee With My Gnome

Kat Scrappiness is one of 73 Super Sponsors providing prizes in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!  Yay!

To commemorate being part of this super fun hop, I created a summery coffee card…and a sneak peek of something included in the upcoming release!

For my card, I first layered kraft cardstock onto the card base.  I found this sweet sand pail and shovel pattern paper in my stash which just goes to justify hoarding pattern paper…you never know when something in that stash will be the perfect pattern to go with something you want to create!

Next, I cut thin cork for the backdrop of this summery coffee cup created with Kat Scrappiness Layered Coffee Cup Die.  And the stamped images…Summer Gnomes and Summer Gnomes Add-on stamp sets are coming tomorrow!

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the start of Kat Scrappiness newest release (psst…it’s pretty awesome!)

    Just Brew It

Hello, it’s Lisa here with you today! I’m up on the Kat Scrappiness blog with a bright and cheery coffee card! It just so happens that this week the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are celebrating their

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop and Kat Scrappiness is a returning Super Sponsor for this event!

I just love making coffee themed cards and Kat Scrappiness has a whole section in their shop with coffee related stamps, dies, sequins and more! They even have realistic looking

Coffee Beans for shaker cards or embellishments! Check these out!!!

For my card today I wanted to make a bright and cheery coffee card so I grabbed some happy Doodlebug Simply Spring patterned paper and got to work! I usually gravitate toward the color pink when I’m making cards but today the blues and yellows caught my eye. I used the Layered Coffee Cup Die and cut out the cover and koozy using the cute little bumble bee/butterfly (not sure) patterned paper. For the base of the cup I used some light blue paper and embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder.  Next I matted this happy cup on to a white panel cut with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die and another yellow plaid panel with a larger Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die. Finally I added some blue and yellow confetti around the cup using the Party Confetti Sprinkles.

I just love how this card came out, it just makes me happy!

Head over to Kat Scrappiness to check out all of these fun coffee themed products plus so much more! Lucky for you Kat is having a Memorial Day Sale through May 29th and you can save 15% sitewide using code MEMDAY2020.

Orders of $50 and more will receive a FREE sample pack of Kat’s Star Spangled Sprinkles!

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Get Well Soon – Slimline Card

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Today I have a slimline Get Well Soon card that uses several dies from Kat Scrappiness.

I used both of the slimline dies – Embossed Edge and Stitched Scalloped – to cut paper from the Echo Park Spring Market collection.  I die cut the Get Well Soon sentiment from green card stock, and used that same green card stock to layer the stitched scalloped panel on.  I adhered the sentiment to the panel and used dimensional foam adhesive to layer on the larger Embossed Edge panel.  I then adhered this to my gray card base.  To finish the card I added a few clear solid sequins.

Head over to the Kat Scrappiness shop now for the Memorial Day sale – almost everything in the store is 15% off.
