Oopsie Daisy – Happy Birthday Card

Happy Friday Friends! Sheri from the Creative Crew here today with a Birthday card featuring the Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil along with a few other supplies.

    Steps to Create Card:

    • Cut White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″)
    • Cut White panel using the A2 Quilted Background die.
    • Cut White frame using the largest die from the A2 Frame die set.
    • Cut 2 White fishtail banners from the Nesting Fishtail Banner die set. I used the second & third largest banners in the set: 3″ x 4 1/2″ & 2 5/8″ x 4″.
    • Ink blend the largest fishtail banner from the 2 you cut out. (used Gina K. Dark Orchid)
    • Stamp birthday sentiment from the Happy Day and Every Day Brush Strokes stamp sets on the smaller fishtail banner towards the bottom. Use black ink for the “Happy” and stamp the “Birthday” using embossing ink on a scrap piece of black card stock that you will trim into a strip using the Boxed Sentiment Strip dies.
    • Cut foliage from the Stitched Foliage die set. I cut three pieces from white card stock.
    • Ink blend foliage pieces using green ink. (used Gina K. Designs Jelly Bean Green)
    • Take white card stock large enough to stencil your flowers and leaves. With the Oopsie Daisy Layering Stencil and three shades of ink to create your daises. (used Gina K. Light Orchid, Medium Orchid and Dark Orchid). You will also need 4 leaves. (I used Gina K. Jelly Bean Green and was just heavy handed with the second layer). Once your daisies and leaves are complete, cut them out with the Oopsie Daisy Coordinating Die Set.
    • Assemble Card. (foam tape optional)
    • For embellishment I added a few Ice Ice Baby Clear Enamel Dots.

  • Autumn Daisies Slimline Card

    Autumn Daisies Slimline Card

Happy Monday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from the Kat Scrappiness Design Team. Today’s slimline card features a trailing bouquet of daisies, but not in their usual spring colors; instead, in autumn shades of rich coral, spicy mustard, and cinnamon brown.

I used the Kat Scrappiness Oopsie Daisy stamp set and coordinating dies to make today’s card.

This stamp set includes two daisy flowers as well as the centers, stems, and leaves.  All of these images come with multiple layers that will allow you to EASILY create beautiful, realistic stamped daisies!  A Layering Stamping Guideis included on the back of the stamp set.

Note: Although I did not use it for this project, there’s also a Layered Oopsie Daisy Stencil set that includes three (3) reusable layering stencils that can be used separately or layered together for a more dimensional look. The Stencil Guide is located on the back of the packaging.

    Card Details:

    • Created a Slimline side-folding card base (3.25″ x 8.25″) using a white card base.
    • Die cut a sheet from The Lumber Yard Slimline Paper Pad using the largest of the Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Nesting Slimline Dies and adhered to the card base.
    • Stamped both styles of daisies beginning with the base layer images in the lightest ink before continuing with the remaining layers, each in darker inks until the daisies were finished.
    • Die cut the finished daisies with the coordinating dies and set aside.

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today’s card is using products from the new Summer Vibes release. I just love this release. Below are the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 3 – Diecut Mini Slimline Frame using White Cardstock. Adhere to card front using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

Step 4 – Stamp Fluttering By using 3 shades of Blue Ink. Diecut with the coordinating die. Adhere to the card using Bearly Art Precision Glue. I applied the glue only to the center to give dimension to the wings.

  • Create an Easy Bokeh Background for a Card | Summer Vibes Release | Call Me Crafty Al

Create an Easy Bokeh Background for a Card | Summer Vibes Release | Call Me Crafty Al

    Hello crafty friends!

It’s Alicia a.k.a. Crafty Al here to share a look at the card that I created using some of the Kat Scrappiness goodies from their Summer Vibes Release, including the NEW Layered Bokeh Stencil Set.

To get started I blended blue and purple inks onto an A2 sized piece of smooth, white cardstock. Then I used white ink with 2 of the 3 stencils in the Layered Bokeh Stencil Set to create the bokeh effect.

For the focal point I used 2 sizes of dies from the Nesting Fishtail Banners die set – cutting one from vellum and one from the center of the ink blended piece. These 2 pieces got adhered together and then I added some white cardstock die cuts made with the Stitched Foliage Dies.

After adhering this piece to the center of the card with foam tape, making sure to cover the opening on the background,
I added some Aqua AB Jewels and Iris Pearls.

You can check out my video the full process…

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today’s card!
