Creative Crew’s 2022 Holiday Gift Guide

    Hello Crafty Friends!

It’s Donna Idlet here, I hope you have enjoyed all month the Kat Scrappiness Creative Crew showing you their personal TOP FIVE FAVORITE Kat Scrappiness products, that we think you need in your craft room.  If you missed them, please check out the blog for more inspiration.

I’m choosing these top five items, because I either love using them or use on most cards I create ….so without further ado, here it goes.

Number 1Embossed Rectangle Die.  I love how this die, it leaves a beveled edge on the layer.

Number 2:  Is the Rainbow bridge Sentiments and Rainbow Bridge Coordinating Die Set.  This set is perfect to send someone that has lost a furry family member.

Here is a sample card I used all of these sets above.  You can find all the details of this card here.

Number 3:  The Stitched Nesting Dome Dies is a favorite!  These dies are great for layering or using the largest die for a card base.

Here is a sample of a card I used the Stitched Nesting Dome Dies as a card base.  You can find the details of this card here.

Number 4Large Merry Christmas with Shadow.  I love all of Kat Scrappiness words with shadows, the large ones are so nice because you can create a card just with the word dies.

Here is a sample of a card I created using the Large Merry Christmas Die with Shadow.  You can find the details of this card here.

Number 5:  My last item that is a must to have in your crafty room is the Christmas Gnome Stamp Set with Coordinating Dies.  Those of you who may follow me, know I love to create cards with gnomes and coffee.  Well, this set has it all!  You can find all the details of this card here.

BONUS!  Another favorite of mine is Kat Scrappiness Teflon Bone Folder & Rainbow Ombre Reverse Connecting Lock Craft Tweezer.  I use these items in almost every card I create.

  • Pawsome Dogs Shaker Card

    Pawsome Dogs Shaker Card

Hi, everyone! This is Nicki from the Design Team. I’m so excited to be sharing a torn paper shaker card with the new Pawsome Dogs release from Kat Scrappiness! For all the details, make sure to watch the YouTube video.

To start, I am going to use a plain piece of white paper and a mini slimline acetate sheet. I tore the paper into even sections and added these to the top of the acetate sheet, leaving about 1/3 of the card front as acetate. Next, I used the frame cut from the A2 Waterside Die

Then, I used foam strips on the back of the shaker front to create a space for the shaker pieces.

Next, use the telescopic powder tool around the edges of the foam strips to make sure the shaker pieces don’t stick to the them. Then, add the shaker pieces and place the back of the card.

All that is left is to decorate the front of the card! I used copic markers to color the dog and the dog bowl. The sentiment is from Pawsome Dogs Sentiments and is heat embossed on brown card stock.

Thanks so much for being here! Make sure to click through the links below if you are interested in any of the products used for this card. Tell me what you think in the comments – have you made a shaker like this?

  • Rainbow Bridge Pet Sympathy Card | Stamping, Masking and Stenciling | Call Me Crafty Al

Rainbow Bridge Pet Sympathy Card | Stamping, Masking and Stenciling | Call Me Crafty Al

    Hello crafty friends!

It’s Alicia a.k.a. Crafty Al here to share a look at the pet sympathy card that I created using the NEW Rainbow Bridge Sentiments stamp set from Kat Scrappiness, which is part of their NEW Release – Pawsome Dogs.

To get started I stamped the bridge and sentiment from the Rainbow Bridge set onto white cardstock. Then I stamped just the bridge onto some masking paper, cut it out and placed it on top of the white cardstock bridge.

Using a rainbow of inks, I blended the entire piece of cardstock and then I added the NEW Pawprint stencil on top and used the same rainbow colors so the pawprints would stand out. Before removing the stencil, I used some glitter paste in the paw openings, removed the mask and let it dry overnight. Once this was dry the paw prints were sparkly.

I used the largest die in the A2 Frames die set on the card front which left me with a border and center of the ink blended piece. The frame got adhered to a cardbase and the center portion was matted and added to the card base with foam.

To finish off the card I stamped the dog from the Rainbow Bridge stamp set, cut it out and popped it up below the sentiment.

You can check out my video for the full process…

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today’s card!

  • Pawsome Fancy Fold Card!

    Pawsome Fancy Fold Card!

    Happy Monday!
Tasha here sharing a fancy fold card tutorial featuring the new Pawsome Dogs Stamp Set!

This card is so easy to make and I love how it looks with the new Pawsome Boy Paper Pad.

See my full tutorial on the Kat Scrappiness YouTube Channel!

    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npDpDMYECLo]

For the main image, I stamped one of the dogs from the Pawsome Dogs Stamp Set and colored him with Copic Markers. I created a simple background and added three little bones from the Dog Bones Sprinkles Pack.

For the sentiment, I used the Pawsome Dogs Sentiment Stamp Set and colored the edges with green & blue to coordinate with the front panel. I love these colors together!

Lastly, I added silver glitter layers to each panel for extra glitter to complete the project!

Thank you for checking out today’s card and I hope you are having a great day!
