A Rainbow of Bunnies
Good Morning! This is Kathy with the Kat Scrappiness Design Team. I am so happy to be here today with some bunny inspiration in a rainbow of colors for you. This card is pretty simple it just involves a little bit of masking, some ink blending, and a very little coloring. Today I am using the Hippity Hoppity Bunnies stamp set, the Hippity Hoppity Sentiment set, and the new Hop into Easter patterned paper. from Kat Scrappiness All of these new releases shout spring-time.

So now let’s make the card!

Card Supplies
- Hippity Hoppity Bunnies Stamp Set
- Hippity Hoppity Sentiments
- Hop Into Easter Paper Pack 6″ x 8″
- Pearls in various colors – TIP – If you don’t have a color you need use the white pearls and color with a coordinating alcohol marker
- Peacock Background Die
- Distress Oxide Inks for Blending
- Alcohol Markers
- Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb
- Paper Trimmer
- Stamp Platform
- Scoring Tool
- Masking Paper
Card Details
- Cut, score, and fold a landscape A2 card from 110lb Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
- Cut an A2 card panel 4.25″ x 5.5″ in the white card stock
- Using the Peacock Background die EMBOSS the white card panel with your die-cutting machine, according to your machine’s instructions.
- Adhere this panel to your white card base. I used double-sided adhesive.
- Cut a strip of the patterned to 3.5″ by 5.5″
- Cut another piece of card stock to 2.5″ x 5.5″. We will use this for stamping the bunnies.
- Stamp your bunnies 5 times on masking paper and cut them out. You can fussy cut them or use an electronic cutting machine.
- Stamp your first bunny in the center of the small, white panel. I used my Misti stamping platform.
- Mask this bunny, then line up your next image and stamp. Mask this bunny. Continue to do this until you have 5 bunnies stamped and masked. then add two strips of masking paper (5.5″) to the top of the bunnies and the bottom of the row of bunnies. I left a bit of the ear and egg poking out.
- Using Distress Oxide Inks ink-blend a rainbow stripe across all the bunnies. I used a rainbow order but choose any coordinating colors you have.
- Next, color the stripes on the eggs and the flower. I used a coordinating alcohol marker for each ink color.
- Again, using your stamping platform, stamp your sentiment.
- To assemble the card, I added foam tape to the back of the patterned paper and added it to the die-cut background.
- The bunny panel adhered with strong liquid glue.
- Finally, I added my pearls. As you can see they coordinate with the color of the bunnies. I didn’t have an orange pearl so I used an alcohol marker to color the white pearls listed below.
- Adhere your pearls to the center of the flowers.
The masking is really the hardest part of this card and I am sure you can do it! I would love to see your Easter/Spring-Time creations. As always thanks for stopping by. Eggstra Special Friend
Hello Everyone!!

Nora here from the Kat Scrappiness Design Team. I created a fun card using supplies from Kat Scrappiness’ New Release! I wanted a card that was more spring than Easter, so I concentrated on making a friend card.

To create my card:
- Make an A2, top folding card measuring 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″ using white cardstock (Used: Neenah Solar White Cardstock)
- Using the new Kat Scrappiness Hop into Easter Paper Pack, cut a piece of the pink gingham paper into a 4 1/4″ by 2 1/2″ and a piece of the pink flower paper into a 4 1/4″ by 1/2″ strip. Adhere to the front of the card
- With black ink, stamp the sentiment from new Hippity Hoppity Sentiments below the gingham paper, on the left side of the card. (Used: Memento Tuxedo Black)
- Die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Wonky Wavy Circle Die. Stamp some tiny flowers from the Hippity Hoppity Bunnies stamp set onto the front of the circle and color them in with markers. Adhere it to the front of the card using foam adhesive. (Used: Scrapbook Adhesives Crafty Foam Tape)
- Stamp a bunny from the Kat Scrappiness Hippity Hoppity Bunnies onto white cardstock using black ink. Color the bunny with markers and fussy cut image out. Adhere to the card front using foam adhesive. (Used: Neenah Solar White Cardstock, Scrapbook Adhesives Crafty Foam Tape, Memento Tuxedo Black)
- To finish my card off, I adhered some new Kat Scrappiness Yellow Jewels and my card was complete.

Happy Hippity Hoppity Easter!
Hello crafty friends! Sammi here to show you a very cute and easy Easter card using the new Hippity Hoppity stamp set. I just love these new bunnies!! They are so cute! Here is how you can make this card!
1. Using the Mini Slimline Scalloped Edge die set, I cut out the pink gingham paper from the Hop Into Easter paper pack. I then popped it onto a mini slimline card base with foam tape.
2. Using the Happy Easter w/ Shadow die, I cut out the sentiment three times and ink blended with Distress Ink to get the teal color I wanted. I then glue the pieces on top of each other so I go dimension. I then cut the shadow with vellum and glue them together and glued it on top of the pink gingham card base. When gluing with vellum, be sure to only apply glue where the sentiment goes so the glue won’t show.
3. I then stamped the bunnies from the Hippity Hoppity stamp set and colored them with Copic makers and fussy cut them out. I then popped them up on the card base with foam tape.
4. I then added some Aqua Transparent jewels for that finished look.
I love how easy this card is to make and it is so cute! I love the new Hop Into Easter paper! the gingham is great! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

2 for 1 Card Design
Hello Crafty Friends!! Nora here today with two cards using the same basic supplies. Unlike how I ordinarily make cards, I created both these cards at the same time. I usually make my cards separately but I wanted to use the Kat Scrappiness Butterfly Backdrop Die for one of my designs, and I knew that I could create a second card using some of the butterfly die cuts.

Below is the card process I used to design my cards.
- I started out by blending orange ink on a piece of 5 1/2″ by 4 1/4″ piece of white cardstock. I used the same ink for the whole sheet, lightly blending the orange at the top and using more ink at the bottom. I watered down some of the orange ink and some white pigment ink and flicked it across the front. When the ink was dry, I die cut the panel using the KS Butterfly Backdrop Die.
- Next I stamped the largest flower from the Friendship Greetings Stamp Set with the orange ink in a diagonal across a white, A2, top folding card front. I also used the same stamp to randomly stamp across the die cut panel. I adhered my orange panel on top of the stamped, white card base.
- I took another A2 sized panel of white cardstock and stamped the same image across the entire piece using black ink. I used the Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Rectangle Die to die cut my black and white panel and then adhered it to a green card base.
- I used the Friendship Greeting Stamp Set to stamp an orange sentiment on a white scrap and directly stamped the hello in black on the butterfly card. I used Glossy Accents over both of my sentiments.
- To embellish my cards, I chose to use the Cantaloupe Pearl Mix for both cards, as well as picking out the green leaves from the Sunflower Fields Sprinkle Mix for the black and white card front. I wanted to add the touch of green to bring out the green from the card base.
- My last step was to use the die cut butterflies across both of my cards. Some of the butterflies were adhered using foam adhesive and others were just glued on flat.
These cards may look complicated but creating both at the same time really cut down on the time it makes to create just one! I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by today!!! Please pop on over to the blog again this week to see more fabulous creations from the Design Team!!

February Kat Scrappiness Embellishment Release

Hi there Kat Scrappiness Fans, today we have a fun Embellishment release for you. The team has come together to create some fun projects for you. Not all of the new release has projects, but be sure there will be more projects coming in future posts from the team. All items used by the team are linked at the end of the post.

Sheri used the Luck of the Irish mix along with Everyday Quokka and Uppercase Condensed Letters for her Mini Slimline Shaker Card.

Caren has used the Luck of the Irish mix with the Lowercase Condensed letters in her mini slimline shaker project.

Sammi hit it on the head with the Luck of the Irish Mix, along with the Bumble Bee Pearl mix formerly released. The Clouds from the Slimline Rainbow Die Set and the After the Rain die set, along with the Happy from the Happy Easter with Shadow set.

Nora did an awesome job using the cute Stitched Bunny Outline Dies and the Spring Has Spring Mix.

She also used the Rainbow Confetti Slimline Paper Pack for her card panel.

Donna used the Stitched Slimline Rainbow Die, Rainbow Hugs with Shadow Die, Reverse Scalloped Mini Slimline Die and the Love Is Love mix for this awesome card!!!

Tasha used the Slimline Jewels Paper Pad, Party Banner Cover Plate Die, Everyday Quokka Stamp/die,

Everyday Sentiments and Rainbow Mouse Sprinkles to make this amazing shaker card.

Kathy used the Happy Easter w/shadow, Rainbow Egg Die set and Pastel Hearts Mix.

Nicki made this great shaker card using the Happy Birthday w/shadow die, Layered Party Banner Die, And Star Studded Rainbow Sprinkles

Crafty All used the Lowercase Condensed Alphabet, Stitched Bunny Outline and Pastel Love Mix.

Kimberly used the Fancy Scallop A2 Dies, Layered Tulip Bouquet Dies, along with the Teal and Purple Seashell mixes on this wonderful card.

And last but not least we have Donna’s Shamrock project where she used the Stitched Fancy Scalloped Hearts to make the Shamrock Shaker, filled with the Over The Rainbow Mix and used the Happy Mail sentiment from the Happy Mail Mini Slimline Envelope Die Set.

Absolute Birthday Card Essentials!
Good Morning, Kathy here with some new inspiration for you. The new Birthday Essentials die set from Kat Scrappiness provides many elements to create beautiful birthday cards. Today’s card is a bit interactive as I added a wobble. I think it is so fun and hope you do too! This was easy to create and a load of fun. Now it’s time to make a card!

CARD SUPPLIES
- Kat Scrappiness Birthday Essentials die set
- Kat Scrappiness Birthday Essentials Paper Pack 6 x 8
- Kat Scrappiness Everyday Brush Strokes stamp set (sentiment)
- Kat Scrappiness Silver Round Confetti
- Neenah Classic Crest 110lb card stock
- Colored card stock
- Paper Cutter
- Die-cutting machine
- Glue
- Foam

CARD DETAILS
- Cut, score, and fold a 5″ x 5″ card base.
- Cut a panel from white card stock measuring 4.5″ x 4.5″.
- Add some interest to this panel by using an embossing folder or just score lines every 1/4″ like I did.
- With a 3″ circle die, center, and die-cut from the smaller panel.
- With a slightly larger die, cut a circle from the Birthday Essentials Paper Pack.
- Die-cut your birthday hats from the Birthday Essentials die set. I cut 4 hats. Two from silver and two from blue card stock. But if you just want to use patterned paper behind your hats you only need two.
- Trace the hat onto a piece of white card stock and cut it out two times. This will be glued to the back of the hat if you are inlaying your small die-cut elements. If you are using patterned paper trace the hats and glue the patterned paper to the back of the die-cut hats.
- I took the inside die pieces from one hat and inlaid them into the other hat. So on this card I took the blue dots and inlaid them into the silver hat with dots, then the silver stripes were inlaid into the blue hat.
- Tape your larger patterned circle to the back of the main card panel with low-tack tape. Add glue ONLY to the circle. Then, center the main panel onto the card base and press down on the circle. This will get you perfect placement for the larger circle. (Remember to remove the low tack tape)
- Layout your hats. To one of the hats, I added foam tape to pop it up. I added a little wobble piece to the second hat and adhered to that.
- I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Nocturne Clair black ink from the Everyday Brushstrokes stamp set. I then embossed with clear embossing powder and heated. I cut the sentiment with my paper cutter then cut a slightly larger rectangle from blue card stock. Glue these together and add to your card. Where the sentiment was touching the card I used liquid glue. Then I put a small piece of foam behind the area touching the patterned circle.
- Add a few silver confetti and the card is done.

Quokka Hugs and Kisses Valentine
Hello everyone!! Nora Noll here on the blog today with a fun card featuring the Smooches Coverplate, Spectrum of Love Paper, and Kisses Sprinkles from the January release combined with the Valentine Quokkas Stamps and Dies.

Card Details:
1. Cut down a piece of the red heart paper from the Kat Scrappiness Spectrum of Love slimline paper pack into a to 4″ by 5 1/4.” Adhere this pattern paper to a white, A2, top folding card base.
2. Die cut the Kat Scrappiness Smooches Coverplate out of a piece of white cardstock. Splatter red ink across the front and when dry, adhere over the red paper.
3. Add a red heart that was die cut using the largest heart from the Hearts of Love Shaker Die Set and red cardstock.
4. Stamp the Quokkas from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set and die cut them with the coordinating Valentine Quokka Dies. Color the Quokkas in and adhere them over the heart using foam adhesive.
5. Stamp, color and die cut the bow from the Kat Scrappiness Valentine Quokka Stamp set. Adhere it onto the left Quokka.
6. Cover the bow and the Quokka’s noses using Glossy Accents for a bit of shine.
7. Using white cardstock strips, stamp sentiments in black and adhere to the card front.
8. The last step is to adhere some red lips from the Kisses Sprinkles over the right Quokka’s face.

sprinkled with love-shaker card
It’s a beautiful day in Arizona and time to share some LOVE! This is Kathy from Expressive Paper. I have some inspiration for you today for Valentine’s Day! Kat Scrappiness has all the bits and pieces you need to make beautiful shaker cards. Today’s card features the Stitched Heart Cover Plate. It is time to get shaking!

Supplies
- Stitched Hearts Cover Plate Die
- Heart Builder Donut Dies
- For the Love of Donuts Stamp Set
- XOXO Sprinkles
- Telescopic Embossing Powder
- Die Cutting Machine
- Stamp Platform
- Paper Trimmer
- Heating Tool
- Distress Oxide Inks
- Embossing Powder
- Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
- Double Sided Adhesive
- Liquid Glue
Card Panels/Pieces
- Top Folding A2 Card Base
- Stitched Heart Cover Plate die cut-4.25″ x 5″
- Shaker Element
- Sentiment
- Sprinkles
Card Details
- Cut a piece of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb paper for a top folding A2 card, measuring 4.25″ by 11″.
- Score at 5.5″ and fold.
- Using a piece of the same card stock use the Stitched Hearts Cover Plate and die cut your main card panel.
- Using the large plain heart and medium heart dies from the Heart Donut Builders set, tape together and cut 5 frames for your shaker element.
- With the large heart die cut 1 large base for your shaker element. Using the same die cut a heart from the acetate.
- Four of the frames are adhered together and glued to the heart base. Set this aside to dry.
- Adhere the top frame to the acetate and set aside.
- Shake some of the XOXO Sprinkles into the base of the shaker element. Make sure they are level with the frame and don’t overfill or the element won’t shake.
- Add glue, carefully aroung the base and adhere the top frame and acetate. Put an acrylic block on top and allow to dry.
- Now for the main card panel! Using the masking paper cut 3 pieces of 3″ x 3″ squares. Die cut the large heart from each.
- Place the open heart masking paper on to the die-cut cover plate where you want them. I left a bit of space off-center for the shaker element.
- Carefully ink blend the heart area, make sure not to go outside of the masking square. You may use post it notes to cover areas of concern. Use the colors of your choice. Allow the panel to dry.
- Find a coordinating piece of scrap paper for your sentiment. I used the stamp Sprinkled with Love from the For the Love of Donuts stamp set. Prep your card scrap using the Telescopic Embossing Powder Tool.
- With black ink and a stamp platform (or just an acrylic block) stamp your sentiment. Add clear embossing powder and heat your sentiment.
- Use the Block Sentiment Dies to cut your strip.
Card Assembly
- Add double sided adhesive and a bit of liquid glue to your cover plate. This allows you to wiggle the panel into place.. Center this on to the top folding panel.
- Add liquid glue to the back of your shaker element and adhere to the area you want it to be.
- I cut a bit off the edges of my sentiment and added foam tape to the ends. Liquid glue was added to the shaker heart where the sentimet will sit.
- I added a few sprinkles around the card base just for fun. That’s it, card done!

A Fun Valentine Card

Hello everyone!! Nora here on the blog with a fun Valentine card I created using some of the recently released Kat Scrappiness Valentine Products.

This card might look like it has a lot of pieces to it (it does) but it is a relatively easy card to put together.

I began my card by layering a gray pattern piece of paper from the new Kat Scrappiness Spectrum of Love Slimline Paper pack over a white, A2 card base. I then used the newly released Kat Scrappiness Stitched Hearts Cover Plate and the KS Never Ending Circle Die to die cut a white circle. I adhered this over the pattern paper on my card front.

I layered a frosted “donut” that I created using the new Kat Scrappiness Heart Donut Builder Dies, Glossy Accents and Banana Split Sprinkles. Doesn’t it look delicious? Using the Glossy Accents and the Sprinkles helps give the donut a more realistic look.

I heat embossed a sentiment in white from the For the Love of Donuts Stamp Set and a die cut “love” from the Love You Sentiment w/ Shadow Die in black for the sentiment on my card. To complete my project, I added a few embellishments from the XOXO Sprinkles Set randomly around my card. I hope my card inspires you to create your own Valentines!!!
