    Punny Snack Cards

Happy Monday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from the Kat Scrappiness Design Team. Today I am sharing three adorable 3″x3″ square cards, perfect to send to a friend or to slip into a gift. Each once has a coordinating square envelope I made simply by tracing a ready made one and creating a template.

For all three cards, I used the Kat Scrappiness stamp set called Punny Snacks. If you like cute and punny, this stamp set is for you! There are 28 stamps in this set including 17 images (that are so fun to color!) and 11 sentiments.

    Card Details:

    • Created three top-folding 6″x3″ card bases, scored at 3″ using red, green, and yellow cardstock.
    • Using one of the Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Square Dies, die cut 3 white pieces of cardstock, slighting smaller that the 3″ card base.

    • Created a coordinating square envelope for each card tracing a store-bought one as a template.
    • Added Nuvo Crystal Glaze on each image for a shiny finishing touch!

    My Obsessions by Martha Lucia

Yes! My obsession is make cards and I am fascinated with the products from the last release! Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here with you to share two of my cards with the products recently release and available at Kat Scrappiness Store!

Summer is not finished but Fall is around the corner…the perfect excuse to make one card for each season! Let me start with the summer card.

    CARD DETAILS:

To make this card I just applied distress ink over a craft mat and sprayed the ink with water. Then, I took the ink from the mat passing the watercolor paper over it. I let the paper dry naturally. In a while, I stamped the images from the sets Summer Gnome and Summer Gnome Add On onto white card stock and colored the images with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. In addition, I fussy cut the images with scissors and the sentiment with a Stitched Strip Sentiment Die.

I placed the second large size of the Double Stitched Nesting Slimline Dies  over the inked background piece and die cut it with my big shot. I pasted the large piece directly over the card base and the small piece using crafty foam tape.

Then, I arranged all my pieces with dual tip glue pen and crafty foam tape.

    AFTER COFFEE CARD!

For my second card, I am using the fabulous Coffee Time Background Die. First, I inked the white layer with four different colors of Distress Ink. Then, I passed the inked layer through the big shot and I took care of remove the layer from the die because I wanted to keep the negative parts of the cups designs that are on the center of the die in the same place. After removed the layer, I secured the cups with washi tape behind.

I pasted the die cut layer over a brown card base using crafty foam tape. Then, I stamped one of the coffee images included in the stamp set Let’s Get Caffeinated and stamped a white piece of card stock. In addition, I die cut this piece with one of the Embossed Edge Square Dies. To finalize, I created a mat with the next large embossed edge square die.

    GOOD NEWS!

Now, I want to share with you a new product available at the store! All of us need this, the New Magnetic Die Try by Kat Scrappiness!

I believe this is fabulous because we can keep our dies in when we are creating at the same time that we save time searching and money keeping the dies secured!

Thank you for stopping by and keep in touch because very soon Kat Scrappiness Store will be having a new release of products.

Hello there, Martha Lucia here with you. Today I am featuring with detail four of the new die cuts released yesterday and today. I am so happy with these designs and I am sure that they fill out our expectations. Let me start with the cards:

Give Thanks Dies by Martha Lucia

The base of my card is Basic Black card stock and the second layer is Very Vanilla. I cut several embossed squares dies of medium size to create the colorful background and I just arranged all the die cut pieces over the second layer. After paste all the embossed squares, I die cut the Gift Thanks shadow word die, using vellum for the mat and Rinea Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper for the letters. I pasted the entire word over the decorated background using double sided foam tape behind of the big letters. As final touch I stamped some leaves from the stamp set Happy Fall Y’all onto whisper white card stock and colored them with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir.

My next card was made using the Give Thanks Wreath released yesterday and the Embossed Edge Rectangle Dies.

I cut a card base using Rich Razzleberry card stock. I dry embossed the second layer with the Leaves Swirl Darice Embossing Folder and pasted it directly over the card base. Then I cut several layers of the Give Thanks Wreath die using Old Olive card stock. I pasted the layers of the Give Thanks Wreath using on point glue. I also cut one Give Thanks Wreath onto Daffodil Delight card stock and with scissors cut the sentiment and pasted it over the top green layer.
