  • Quokka Hugs and Kisses Valentine

    Quokka Hugs and Kisses Valentine

    Hello everyone!! Nora Noll here on the blog today with a fun card featuring the Smooches Coverplate, Spectrum of Love Paper, and Kisses Sprinkles from the January release combined with the Valentine Quokkas Stamps and Dies.

    Card Details:

    1. Cut down a piece of the red heart paper from the Kat Scrappiness Spectrum of Love slimline paper pack into a to 4″ by 5 1/4.” Adhere this pattern paper to a white, A2, top folding card base.
    2. Die cut the Kat Scrappiness Smooches Coverplate out of a piece of white cardstock. Splatter red ink across the front and when dry, adhere over the red paper.
    3. Add a red heart that was die cut using the largest heart from the Hearts of Love Shaker Die Set and red cardstock.
    4. Stamp the Quokkas from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set and die cut them with the coordinating Valentine Quokka Dies. Color the Quokkas in and adhere them over the heart using foam adhesive.
    5. Stamp, color and die cut the bow from the Kat Scrappiness Valentine Quokka Stamp set. Adhere it onto the left Quokka.
    6. Cover the bow and the Quokka’s noses using Glossy Accents for a bit of shine.
    7. Using white cardstock strips, stamp sentiments in black and adhere to the card front.
    8. The last step is to adhere some red lips from the Kisses Sprinkles over the right Quokka’s face.

    Rainbow Hugs and Smooches

    Hello and Happy Saturday!  Donna W. here today sharing a Valentine’s Day Card created with new products from the Kat Scrappiness January Valentine’s Day Release.   Before we get to my card, I would like to remind you to stop by the “What’s New” Section of the Shop to see all the wonderful products that are available.

    Now, let’s get to this colorful card!

    This card was so fun to create and it looks complicated but the dies made it easy.  To start my card, I cut strips of card from the Spectrum of Love Slimline Paper Pack and adhered to the back of the Smooches Coverplate Die cut in rainbow order (ROYGBIV).  This created a card front full of fun and colorful lips.  This die set also includes the extra large pair of lips that I cut from bright pink card, adhered to a black shadow and applied Glossy Accents for that shiny Lip Gloss Look.

     

    To complete the design, I’ve cut the sentiment using the Rainbow Hugs Sentiment with Shadow Die from Lavendar card and popped on craft foam for dimension.  Lastly, I’ve applied Wink of Stella to the sentiment for the extra sparkle a Valentine’s Day card requires.

    Inlaid Smooches Coverplate Die

    Hello everyone!

    It’s Donna Idlet here featuring the NEW A2 Smooches Coverplate Die, Love You Sentiment W/Shadow and Sending My Love Sentiment W/Shadow Dies. I hope you have enjoyed the new release so far and have had a lot of inspiration from the design team.

    Here are my cards for your inspiration:

    Here is how I created the cards:
    1. Cut & Score White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/5″.
    2. Die cut the A2 Smooches Coverplate  using pink and red cardstock.
    3. Added double stitched adhesive to each coverplate and inlaid the red lip on the pink coverplate and the red lips on the pink coverplate.
    4. Die cut Love You Sentiment W/Shadow and Sending My Love Sentiment W/Shadow Dies with black card stock.
    5. Die cut  the shadow from the Love You Sentiment W/Shadow vellum added the Love You sentiment
    6. Stamp and heat embossed the “MWAH!” from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set, die cut with KS
      Boxed Sentiment Strips Dies.
    7. Die cut KS Wonky Wavy Stitched Heart Dies and Sending My Love Sentiment W/Shadow Die.
    8.  Assembled cards and added some KS heart embellishments.
