Happy Sunday!
Josefine here and I wanted to share this Fall/ Thanksgiving card with you. I needed some settled patterns and I think the new Lawn Fawn perfectly plaid paper pad is perfect for that. 🙂

I started by die cutting all the tree pieces and the stump from the green-ish and the brown paper and used the rope die for the background plaid paper and some regular white card stock. Then I distressed the tree pieces with Mowed Lawn Distress ink and the stump with Ground Espresso. Now I adhered the tree pieces together. To create a fall colored background, I blended Wild Honey onto the white piece of card stock. I wasn’t too worried about a perfect blending, in fact I wanted to have an uneven look. Then I added some Ground Espresso to the edges to make it pop even more.

It took me a little to decide where I wanted to have the sentiment, on the top right or underneath the ribbon. I decided to go with underneath the ribbon and stamped it there using Versamark ink and heat set it after sprinkling pale gold embossing powder on top. At the end I assembled everything. The tree and the distressed panel are popped up with foam tape. The plaid background paper is adhered directly to the A2 sized card base. The card needed a little bit more interest, so I added a couple of Autumn Harvest sequins to the tree and around the card.
At the beginning I was a little worried that the “Christmas Tree” might be too green for a Fall/ Thanksgiving themed card, but I’m actually super happy with how it turned out. It’s interesting how much use you can get out of a Christmas die, if you think a little out of the box. Have you seen the other inspiration from the Kat Scrappiness Design Team for that tree die? You should take a look 😉

Hey crafty people! I’m back with another fun Halloween card! I used some new Lawn Fawn products as well as some other items from the
I began by doing some die cutting with Kat’s stitched square dies. I cut my card base and a piece of pattern paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid-Fall paper pack with the largest stitched square die. I also cut a smaller square from some plain white card stock to do my stamping.Tip: If your using a piece of precious LF paper as a background- die cut the middle portion that will be covered and use it for another project!
could color in the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also used the sticky part of a Post-It note to mask off the smaller monster, that way when I stomped the larger one, it looked like it was behind the smaller. The I chose some coordinating colors to color in the monsters. After everything was dry, I popped up the white panel with some foam dots onto my card base. This was a super fun card to make- especially with all of the new products!!! Hope you got some inspiration and don’t forget to check out the other designers projects while you’re hear!
