- Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
- Die cut all the elements of a beach scene out of white cardstock using the A2 Waterside Craft Die.
- Inked the pieces up using various shades of Distress Oxides inks.
- “Built” the beach scene following the lines of the die as a guide and adhered them to the front of the card.
- Die cut one of the dolphins from the Stitched Dolphin Die Set and sponged it with gray Distress Oxide ink before foam mounting it to the front of the card.
- White heated embossed the sentiment from the Summer Gnome Add-On stamp set at the bottom of the card.
- Adhered a blue stitched border (included with the A2 Waterside Die “) to frame the scene.
- Added five 4mm Sparkling Clear Droplets to represent “bubbles” for the finishing touch!
- Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
- Dry embossed yellow cardstock with paw prints and adhered it over the card base. Kat Scrappiness has a paw print background die that will give you a similar look.
- Used white modeling paste and the Kat Scrappiness Ball of Yarn stencil to create a backdrop on navy card stock.
- Colored the cat and dish using Copic markers and stamped the sentiment “Did Someone Say Catnip” using navy ink.
- Die cut the cat, dish, and sentiment using the coordinating dies.
- Assembled the card and adhered to the yarn ball backdrop.
- Added fishbone sprinkles for the finishing touch!

Today’s card features one of my favorite stamp set from KS called Summer Quokka Stamp Set, along with Scene Builder Stencil, A2 Stitched Wave Dies, Tropical Island Getaway Dies and the Wood Grain Frame Cut Die.
I inked up a panel of some Bristol Smooth White card stock using the Scene Builder Stencil and some Distress Oxide inks. I used the Wood Grain Frame Cut Die to die-cut the white frame, along with a few colored card stock that I later on used to die-cut the waves with the A2 Stitched Wave Dies.
Creating the beach scene came together really fast since I’ve already die-cut the frame and the waves. Adhering the frame onto a blue card base using some foam adhesive to give it some dimension, then adding the waves with liquid glue.
I added the sand dune and the palm tree on the card front using the Tropical Island Getaway Dies with foam adhesive to make everything look cohesive. I added the cute Quokka from the Summer Quokka Stamp Set that I previously colored using Copic markers. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment with some black ink. Easy Peasy! Here’s another look:

Today I am sharing a summer-themed beach card perfect for multiple occasions . . . birthdays, vacations, retirements , etc. Just stamp the inside of the card with a sentiment suitable for the event.
