    Hi everyone! I’m Jennifer Design team manager for Kat Scrappiness, and today I’m thrilled to announce that we are opening a special Design Team Call just for VIDEO CONTENT CREATORS!

    If you love filming craft tutorials, process videos, reels, TikToks, quick makes, or step-by-step card projects… this opportunity is for you.
    We’re looking for creators who can bring our products to life on camera — whether it’s short-form video, longer tutorials, or fun behind-the-scenes crafting content.
If you’re someone who enjoys creating engaging, clean, and creative videos, we would love to see you apply!

We value diversity in all our designers and we recognize each format requires different skills.     Kat Scrappiness is looking for video creators for our creative crew!

     

    Hi and thanks for stopping by!  Kat Scrappiness is a family owned crafting company with our own brand of products.  We are based near Seattle in beautiful Washington State.  You can read more about us here.

    Kat’s main products include:

    • Stamps
    • Dies
    • Stencils
    • Patterned Paper
    • Embellishments
    • Tools/Storage/Etc

    We are currently looking for a few great video creators to join our team so if that is you and you enjoy working with these types of products,  please read on!

    * Due to postal restrictions and delayed international mail issues, we are currently only accepting US applications at this time.

    Video Crew:

    What we are looking for in Video Team Crew Members:

    Creators who have active YouTube and social media channels.  We are looking for creators who can produce videos for YouTube, FB Reels, IG Reels, YT Shorts and even Tik Tok!  (All are not necessary but the more the better!)  It doesn’t matter if you have a lot of followers on your channel.  We are not overly concerned with the size of your audience, but with your enthusiasm, activity and talent!

    What is expected of Video Team Crew Members:

    • Create a minimum of 2 Product Intro Videos per release (not always monthly).  Example Product Intro Videos can be seen here.
    • Create a total of 2 project videos per month for your one year term.  Example Videos can be seen here.
    • Share your project photos and store details to social media.
    • You must be able to meet deadlines and schedule your videos on the YouTube Channel.
    • Take clean and bright photographs of your projects.
    • On occasion, you may be asked to create special projects for collaborations, sponsored hops, etc.

    What are the additional requirements in order to apply:

    • You must have an active YouTube channel where you post on regularly.
    • You must have an active IG account.
    • You must film clear well lit videos with good audio quality.
    • Have the ability to join our private Facebook group.

    • Create a video tutorial 2x a month using Kat Scrappiness products.
    • Assist the other video team members (if asked) in creating New Product Release Videos.
    • Be flexible, reliable and have the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Participate in any extra team projects from time to time including hops, collaborations, etc.
    • Promote Kat Scrappiness including new releases, sales and promotions, etc. on social media
    • Take clean, bright and professional looking photos of your projects.
    • Have a love of Kat Scrappiness products, since you will be working with and promoting them!

    Kat Scrappiness is looking for a few creative and committed design team members!  If you meet the following requirements, you could be our next new designer!

    • Complete three projects per month with one project including a process video.  Also, film a haul video and/or blog post each month when your design team kits come in.
    • Create a blog post for each project with photos and tutorials showing how you made your project and how you used Kat Scrappiness products.
    • Promote Kat Scrappiness regularly on Social Media (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Message Boards, etc.)
    • Participate in occasional blog hops and/or challenges.
    • Participate in Design Team Facebook Group

    Term:

    This call is for a one year term beginning March 1, 2018.  Term may be renewed if both designer and Kat Scrappiness agree.

    Compensation:

    • Each month you will receive one of each of Kat Scrappiness’ new releases.  This includes stamps, dies and/or sequins.
    •  You will also receive a 30% discount on everything in the Kat Scrappiness store for any additional products you would like to use in your projects.
    • You will also receive a Design Team Badge to proudly display on your blog.

    Application:
