Hello Kat Scrappiness fans! Welcome to Day 1 of the KS Winter DT Inspiration & Giveaway! As mentioned last month, we changed things up a bit, dividing the team into two groups! You are going to LOVE the samples that the entire team created for you! Don’t forget that we also have a giveaway everyday during the reveals so PLEASE SCROLL THROUGH AT THE END OF THE POST TO FIND OUT HOW TO WIN.
For todays reveal, Team A will be showcasing the Holiday Village Slimline Border die and the Slimline Mountain Scape die and some new Sprinkles for your shaker cards and ornament projects!
HOLIDAY VILLAGE SLIMLINE BORDER DIE
Don’t forget to grab our slimline paper pads at the shop called Cuppa Christmas and Sugar Plum Fairies.
Get ready to be wowed by the design team! Here’s the first one:
ADAM KARLE
For Adam’s card, he combined both the Holiday Village Slimline Border Die and the Slimline Mountain Scape Die into one amazing card! I love the mono-chromatic look against the deep burgundy clouds.
CAREN BARTHOLOMEW
Loving all the purple and blues on Caren’s first card with the Holiday Village Slimline die. She also used the Sugar Plum Fairies paper pad and the Happy Holidays Script Sentiment die.
Caren showed versatility by creating a birthday card for her second project using the Slimline Mountain Scape die.
JO THOMPSON
Jo created a wonderful shaker card showcasing the Holiday Village Slimline die and the Slimline Mountain Scape die. The cute little houses popped against the blue sky and her snowy scene, creating this winter wonderland!
Jo showed versatility by creating a “sweet” card using the Slimline Mountain Scape die and the Christmas Shaker Ornament dies to create the donuts, with the Cuppa Christmas Paper pad and the new sprinkles! Such a clever way to use the dies in different ways!
Additional supplies used for all projects:
KATHY SCHWEINFURTH
Kathy’s first slimline card showcases the Holiday Village Slimline die with some of the new sprinkles.
Kathy’s second card features the Slimline Mountain Scape die and the Crafter’s Essential’s Winter dies mixing it with some of the previously released dies, mentioned below. I love the the different shades of green that she used for the foliage and mixing it with the gold on her sentiment. Such a beautiful winter scene!
Additional supplies used for all projects:
Merry Christmas with Shadow die
Crafter’s Essentials – Winter Dies
LISA GOLZBEIN
Lisa just went above and beyond this month with an array of designs that just took my breath away! She showcased the Holiday Village Slimline Border die, the Christmas Ornament Die set and the Slimline Mountain Scape die.
Additional supplies used for all projects:
Crafter’s Essentials – Winter Dies
MARIA RUSSELL
I created a simple Slimline Christmas card showcasing the Holiday Village Slimline Border and the Slimline Mountain Scape die. I die-cut all of the elements on some Neenah solar white card stock and colored the trees and the tiny houses with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. The background was ink-blended with evergreen bough distress oxide ink on some Bristol smooth white card stock.

The project that was inspiring was Kathy’s card where she used glitter to bring out the Merry Christmas die sentiment. The winter scene came out beautifully by using different shades of green and adding snowflakes.
