Turning Small Die Cuts into Shaker Cards Using Custom Shaped Sprinkles

Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I have two shaker cards to share with you using small die cut images and some adorable custom shaped sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness. Let’s get started!

For my first card, I used an umbrella die from my stash to be the focal point of my card. I added Kat’s teal “Kawaii Cloud Sprinkles” behind an acetate layer, making sure to adhere these sprinkles with spray adhesive inside the umbrella to ensure that stay put and filled the entire area. So technically, it’s a “quiet” shaker card that doesn’t “shake” but gives the appearance of doing so. LOL! With these “Kawaii Cloud Sprinkles” comes an adorable rainbow and cloud embellishment that was the perfect finishing touch for this card!

Here’s a closeup of the “Kawaii Cloud Sprinkles” with the rainbow embellishment. Click on the image below to get more information on these sprinkles.

My second card feature these cute “Pizza Slice Sprinkles.”

To make this card, I stamped, colored, and die cut the heart-shaped pizza image from Lawn Fawn’s “Pizza My Heart” stamp and coordinating die set and then fussy cut out the center of it. Once again, behind an acetate layer, I added lots of “Pizza Slice Sprinkles,” letting them move freely inside so as to make noise when the card was shaken.

I finished off the card with several of the coordinating stamps and dies from the Lawn Fawn set and some patterned paper from my stash.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagram for more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!
