I do love Fall’s beautiful colors and it’s sweater weather! Not to mention it’s time for apple picking, a pumpkin patch visit and watching the leaves change!
You’ll ‘Fall’ in love with all of the beautiful new slimline dies, slimline envelopes, slimline acetate and sprinkles/sequins at Kat Scrappiness!

For my slimline card, I used the new Wood Grain Framed Diamond Wire Slimline Die to cut chocolate brown cardstock. To create the shaker, I then adhered slimline acetate to the back of the Wood Grain Framed Diamond Wire Slimline diecut, added Aww-tumn Sequin Remix and Red Cherry Blossom Sprinkles and covered the back with wood grain pattern paper. I then adhered it all to the card base.
These sweet sunflowers, kitty and sentiment are all from Newton’s Nook.

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today is the day to HONOR all our FIREMEN that risk their lives on September 11th and the weeks that followed when the Twin Towers fell. I hope this card does these HEROES justice. This is Essential Worker (Fireman) from Paper Nest Dolls. I used Kat Scrappiness Distressed Edge, Zig Zag Nesting, and Cityscape Slimline Dies to create my scene. And to lighten up this post, I have included pictures of my nephew and I playing FIREMAN… at the time I was really into the TV Show Chicago Fire so I bought him a Fireman costume for us to play!
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Where were you on 9/11?
A: Me? I was sitting at my breakfast table getting ready for work as a nanny, needless to say we all stayed home glued to the TV that day

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here. Welcome to Kat Scrappiness Blog! Have you seen the most recently addition of die cuts? OMG, I am fascinated and for today I will show you a Give Thanks Die Cut Card created with slimline dies and Decorative dies.

I love to create cards combining different products and this time I made a slimline card and die cut the second layer using textured card stock and one of the dies included on the Distressed Edge Nesting Slimline Dies. I believe these distressed edge dies are gorgeous to obtain different looks and for my card it is perfect. I pasted the distressed layer directly over a white card base.

In a separate piece of white card stock, I stamped some of the images included on the stamp set Happy Fall Y’all and colored them with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. Then, I fussy cut all with scissors and arranged them over the decorated card base using crafty foam tape.

To finalize the card, I die cut the Give Thanks Wreath Die onto purple card stock and edited in my way with scissors to use only the sentiment and coordinate the images with my stamped leaves. I loved how it turned out and to give more dimension, I just pasted with crafty foam tape.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope inspire you with my card! Have a wonderful week!
