    Sending Halloween Love

Hello Friends, Donna W. here sharing this card featuring an adorable Ghost Couple, proving that Chivalry is NOT dead….no pun intended!

My card was created using the Kat Scrappiness Boo-gy Ghost Dies and Boo To You Slimline Paper Pad. The Lollipop and Bow/Bow Tie are part of the die set and great accent pieces that give the ghosts their Personality!

My card measures A2 size (4.25″ x 5.5″) and the slimline paper works great for this sized card also.  After die cutting, I backed the ghost eyes and mouths with snippets of black card, colored the Lolli and Bow with Alcohol Markers and popped the elements on craft foam for dimension.
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you’ll be back soon!  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

I had a lot of fun creating this card! I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone and do more ink blending and I loved how my background panel turned out! Isn’t the Kat Scrappiness Distressed Edge Rectangle perfect for a Halloween card?!

    Steps to Create Card:

    • Cut Black A2 Top Folding Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″). For the inside I cut a White panel measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ along with a black spiderweb from the Creepy Crawly die set.
    • Cut White panel using the larges die in the Distressed Edge Rectangle set.
    • The background panel was ink lended with a combination of Distress Oxide inks – Chipped Sapphire, Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Black soot. Blend to the desired night sky. For added texture I did spray water using my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer. Let Dry.
    • Cut out in a black Happy Halloween w/Shadow die (do not need shadow). Two black trees, 3 black bats and a gray tomb stone from the Crafter’s Essential Halloween dies. I also cut a black strip at the bottom of my card to ground my scene.
    • Stamp two Dress Up Quokkas and choose two costumes from the Halloween Costume Add-On stamp set. Color with your favorite coloring medium. I used alcohol friendly ink and colored with copic markers.
    • Assemble Card. I used foam tape on some of my images to add dimension.

You can see a peek inside where I lined it with a panel of white card stock and used the web.

    October Card Challenge Inspiration

Hello there everyone!  It’s Sheri Gilson here and I am the host for the October Challenge.  I hope you will join in on the fun!  The challenge is to create a Halloween or Thanksgiving themed card.  All you need to do to WIN $20 is create a project with at least 2 Kat Scrappiness Products! Head to the store HERE and grab some goodies and play.  Here is my card for your inspiration

To make my card I used the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Never Ending Dies to cut out my background panel, I then ink blended a combination of Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey and a touch of Ground Espresso. I then attached it to a brown mat. Next I stamped a few images from the Kat Scrappiness Dress Up Quokkas, Thanksgiving Costume Add-On and Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp sets with Amalgam Obsidian ink and used copic markers to color. Then I cut the images out with the coordinating dies and a few were fussy cut. You will also need to die cut a few trees from Crafter’s Essential Halloween die set.

To finish off my card, I assemble my little scene. Some of the images are popped up with foam tape for dimension. I picked one of the sentiments from the Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp set and embossed it in white on a piece of brown card stock. For embellishment I added a few Clear and Solid Round Confetti. I then popped up the stamped panel onto a kraft card base measuring 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″).

    Colorful Little Mail

Hello Friends Waleska Galindo here, today I want to share with you a cute card using small dies.  This mini slimline card is a card you can easy mass produce and just change the sentiment. I hope you like it and can be inspired by it!

    CARD DETAILS:

I started by diecutting the base for my card I used the Mini Slimline Scalloped Edge with kraft cardstock I then cut with white cardstock a rectangle from the Mini Slimline Never Ending Die.  I used a stamp for the splash of color, I used lawn fawn inks,I wanted to have a pastel look but you can use any color combination for different occasions to create this card.

I die cut three of the mini envelopes that come with the Happy Mail Mini Slimline Die with white cardstock, they look so cute I also added a gold heart on each.  There are four different types of envelopes that come on this die set.  I adhere them with foam tape to the card base and added the sentimet.

You can use the new Mini Slimline envelope die to create the perfect envelope for this card too.  Thank you so much for stopping by today,  I hope you have a wonderful day!
