    Christmas Dreams with Angeline

    Ho ho ho! Christmas is almost here so time for some holiday cards. Angeline here to share with you one I made using the Christmas Dreams stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

    I first stamped and cut out all the cute images using my Scan n Cut. Then I colored them using my Copic markers. You could use any markers that you like! I also added some sparkle using the Spectrum Noir sparkle pens.

    I cut out the background papers from DCWV Christmas papers and also die cut the kraft cardstock with Cross Stitched Rectangle Dies by Kat Scrappiness. Then, it’s time to arrange all the cute cut outs and create a scene! Finally, I stamped the sentiment on some vellum with Versamark ink and embossed it.

    Gingerbread man tags

    Hi everyone it’s Mona back this time featuring Kat Scrappiness brand new  Design a Gingerbread Man Die  and I used many of Tim Holtz DISTRESS OXIDE inks in  Cracked Pistachio , Wilted Violets , Broken China ,Faded Jeans, Fired Brick, Iced Spruce to make my backgrounds.

    I first started out by die cutting 3 of the gingerbread men using 3 different cardstocks I had in my paper stash and 3 tags with a die cut I had in my stash.

    This is where I played around with my distress oxide inks making different colour backgrounds. I then took a old paint brush dipped it in water, and let water drops fall on the tags. I proceeded by using different stencils and the same inks giving it even more texture and then a little bit of stamping using lawn Fawn Jet Black, and for the final touches on my tags I used the same black to distress the edges. The greetings were die cut,every thing was glued into place and attached some ribbons from my stash.

    Christmas Tree Shaker Card

    Hi there!  I know they say Turkey before Christmas Tree, but I just couldn’t resist using this super cute Kat Scrappiness Stitched & Layered Christmas Tree Die.

    I started with a white A2 card base and an additional A2 size white piece of cardstock.  I die cut the Christmas Tree Die out of the extra piece of white cardstock, keeping the pieces that were cut out.  Working with the cut out pieces, I inked them up using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mowed Lawn on the edges and Twisted Citron on the rest.

    I then fit the inked pieces onto the card base using the piece which has the cutouts.  Remove the cutout tree and glue the inked tree pieces down.

    With the same two Tim Holtz Distress inks, distress the edges of the cut out tree piece.  Add a piece of acetate to the back of the cutout to cover the tree and glue in place using your favorite glue.  Add some Kat Scrappiness Peppermint Twists Sequins over the tree.  Add foam tape over the cover piece, and place on top to make the shaker.

    To finish the card off, I then took stamp from my stash and stamped and colored several images using Zig Clean Brush markers.

    Define Naughty

    Hi, it’s Mona back with a card featuring Kat Scrappiness Naughty Christmas Stamp set and matching Die   ,the Pop Out Die also from Kat Scrappiness and Peeking friends from Gerda Steiner.

    I started by picking a double sided patterned paper and die cutting it using the largest of  Kat Scrappiness Rectangle Cross Stitch Die  set  that fits perfectly on a A2 card base. I then took the pop out Die and die cut it more toward the bottom of the card and distressed the edges using Tim Holtz distress tool. I then added double sided tape and adhered the red ribbon on top.

    I used my Red Brick disrtress ink and my blending tool to cover the opening of my pop out on my card base. Using my paintbrush, I added droplets of water to add texture to the background.

    Now for the fun part I stamped and coloured in my little moose and adhered him peeking out of the hole.

    I die cut the word Naughty using black cardstock and used my lawn Fawn Jet black ink to stamp the sentiment above the Naughty. This completes my card for today.  I hope you enjoyed it!

    Simple Inlaid Christmas Cards by Maria | Woodlands Reindeer Die

    Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you are all having a great week so far. I’m back today with some simple inlaid Christmas Cards that you can easily mass-produce, showcasing the new Woodlands Reindeer Die, Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and a bunch of other supplies available at Kat Scrappiness.

    Just Dropping By

    Hi there! Hannah, from Fanciful Spaces here! I am SUPER excited to bring this card to you today! I had the awesome opportunity to work with one of the new releases by Lawn Fawn, and with Kat Scrappiness‘s great dies, to bring a card to you today and this is what I made!

    Unfortunately, my photos do not capture all of the glitter and the shimmer, but I promise you that this card virtually glows in the sunlight! I made a video for you, detailing most of the process that I went through to create this card, I hope that you’ll watch it and be inspired to craft something, it can be found here:

    I used Zig Real Brush Markers and Arches Cold Press Watercolor Paper to create a background.

    I die cut two tree panels out of Neenah Solar White paper, these were colored with Distress Oxides and Inks. I used the Pine Tree Border Die by Kat Scrappiness. The top tree set is the die used as intended, the bottom tree set is my using the die upsidedown so that I was using the negative of the cut.

    I traced out a snow bank and added glitter to the edges using Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter in Diamond and Ranger Multi Medium Matte. Here you see my cute little-colored critters and the Copics I used, the video shows a speed up version of my coloring and it lists which color I used when.

    My video failed to record the final steps of my card making. I basically layered and taped each layer down with Scor-Tape. I did pop the snow layer off of the front by using some fun foam, which I also extended behind the critters to prevent them from getting damaged in the mail.

    I LOVE the soft colors of this card, and how the critters just pop out at you!
