Happy Mail – Gift Card Holder

Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope everyone is staying warm. We are having record lows here in Oklahoma this week and lots of snow.

Today I have some great gift card holders using the newly released Happy Mail (mailbox) Gift Card holder. This die set makes it super easy to create some fun gift card holders.

I love that I can use my enormous stash of patterned paper and easily customize each one depending on the card I’m giving. These gift card holders can be used by themselves like I did, or they can be added to the outside or even the inside of a card. The gift cards are simple to make and can be created in minutes! Here is a close up of the gift cards I created.

Quokka Relaxation: Coffee & A Good Book

Hi Crafty Friends,

Valentine Quokka Gift Bags

Hello there! It’s Lisa here with you today from Oh So Cute By Lisa!

Valentine’s Day 2021 is just 2 days away and if you’re struggling to find a cute little package to wrap a small gift or some candy in, I’ve got an idea for you!

Kat Scrappiness has tons of Valentine’s Day inspired products including the brand new

Valentine Quokka Stamp Set! I used the Stitched Heart Tag Dies to make these cute little gift bags and I decorated them with those adorable Quokkas!

These cute little bags were super easy to make but I cannot take credit for the original idea.

My fellow Kat Scrappiness teammate Maria made a video a few years back explaining how to put this gift bag together. Here is a link to that video on YouTube in case you’d like to see the process.

DIY Treat Bag Using Heart Stitched Tag Die by Kat Scrappiness.

Maria makes it super easy to follow the instructions to construct the treat bags.

I created 2 treat bags for today’s post using patterned paper from the Heartfelt Wishes Slimline Paper Pad.

This paper pad coordinates with the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set and has the cutest little images of the Quokkas throughout the pad.

I started by cutting out 2 panels from the larger of the 2 dies in the Stitched Heart Tag Dies. You can actually get 2 panels out of one piece of paper from the Heartfelt Wishes Slimline Paper Pad.

The next step was to create the strip of paper that will connect the 2 panels to each other to make the gift bag. The connecting strip measures 2″ x 11 7/8″ and is scored at several points on the strip.

Score at 4″ and 7 7/8″ on the 11 7/8″ side

and

Score at 1/4″ on the 2″ side down both sides

Maria’s video shows exactly how to do this and shows the markings on the score board.

The long strip is attached to the 2 heart panels with strong double sided tape.

The long panel lines up perfectly with the heart panel and forms a little box to add your gifts and/or treats to. It’s the perfect size for a small gift such as jewelry or a fun mask or some home baked cookies.

I decided to custom wrap some granola bars to add to my bags. I picked out some fun polka dot paper and wrapped the granola bars giving them a fun scalloped edge on each end of the bar.

For the decoration on the front of the wrapped bars, I stamped images from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set on to a Stitched Scalloped Circle Die and a sentiment from the stamp set on to a Stitched Flag Die.

I decorated the front of the bags the same way.

Don’t they look sweet all wrapped up with matching paper and stamps! What a darling little treat bag to give out on Valentine’s Day!

Pack a Suitcase with Valentine Love

Hi Everyone! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs, Today I am sharing the whimsical Valentine card I created by turning a “gift bag” die into a “suitcase.”

But first . . .

For my card, I used the Kat Scrappiness “Gift Bag” die, the new “Heartfelt Wishes” slimline paper pad, and the just released “Valentine Quokka” stamp set.

The gift bag is designed for just that, a gift bag in which you would insert a gift card, but I decided to turn it on its side, and make it a “suitcase.”

I used some plaid paper from the new “Heartfelt Wishes” slimline paper pad, and die cut the suitcase. I die cut it again using brown card stock, fussy cut out just the “trim” and adhered these strips around the edges of the suitcase. I punched out the corner protectors and lock plate out of gold card stock and adhered.

I adhered a “LOVE” decal and pink baggage tag and then die cut two hearts out of the same paper pack using the “Say it with Hearts” coordinating heart die . Finally, I added the adorable Valentine quokka, complete with bowtie, to the front.

Hello Friends Waleska here to share with you a super lovely creation today, Valentines day is fast approaching and if you need some card ideas here I have one for you using our adorable new Valentines Quokkas.

CARD DETAILS:

To create my card today, I started with the background by stenciling some hearts in a pink cardstock and adding glitter gel, I set that aside to dry and started coloring the cute Quokka with the heart mail with copic markers E17 E13 and E11. I hand cut this cutie and with a punch I punch the top part of a white rectangle to create the sheet of paper look and adhered the colored image to the center of this, I stamped the sentiment that you can also find on this set and also added some pink hearts.

I finally just adhered the hearts panel to a white base that I die cut with the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Die and also to a Kraft base.

I looove this cute Quokkas and how adorable they look! I hope you have a wonderful day! hugs!!!

You’ve Got Mail!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness showcasing the adorable Valentine Quokka Stamp set. I am also showcasing one of several mini slimline dies called Distressed Edge Dies, they make the perfect sized card. You can find the full collection here.

My card base measures 3 x 6, I then die cut the mini slimline Distressed Edge dies using the NEWLY released Kat Scrappiness Heartfelt Wishes slimline pattern paper. I then stamped and die cut the Quokkas from the Valentine Quokka stamp set, coloring it with Copics and adhered it onto the Kat Scrappiness Wonky Wavy Heart Stitched die. I finished my card off by adding some Love Hearts sequins.
