    Mini Slimline cards!

    Hello everyone!

It’s Donna here sharing two cards featuring  the newly released stamp set called Summer Quokka and two of the mini slimline dies called Postage Stamp Edge and the Tri-Frame. There are 8 new slimline dies that have been added to the mini slimline collection. Be sure to visit the store and see the collection.

If you have not had a chance to visit the clearance section in the store, there are some great buy, you can find it here.
My first card features the Summer Quokka stamp set and the mini slimline Postage Stamp Edge die set.
Here is how I created my shaker card:
    1.  I cut the base card at 6 x 3 1/2.
    2.  I then die cut the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Postage Stamp Edge.
    3.  I adhered Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Acetate Sheets to the Mini Slimline Postage Stamp Edge with liquid glue.  I added some foam tape to the back of the postage stamp edge die and acetate.  I die cut the Kat Scrappiness Under The Sea Coverplate Die.  I added the Kat Scrappiness Yellow Daisies Sprinkles inside and added the Under the Sea Coverplate and black card stock to close the shaker.
    4.  I added the shaker part of the card to the base.
    5.  I stamped and colored the images with copics from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Quokka and added them to the front of the card.
    6.  I added the Hello sentiment from the Friendship Greetings stamp set.

Here’s the list of supplies I used on the card above:

My second card features the Kat Scrappiness Starlights Jewels and Starlights Bright slimline papers, the mini slimline Tri-Frame, Light Up The Night Sprinkles and Happy Birthday Brush Script Sentiment.
Here is how I created this card:
    1.  I cut the base card at 6 x 3 1/2.
    2.  I then cut half inch strips from the  Starlights Jewels and Starlights Bright slimline paper and adhered them to some card stock.  I then used the mini slimline Tri-Frame to cut the layer for the card.  I adhered the frame to the base of the card and then used some foam tape to pop the middle up onto the base of the card.
    3.  I then die cut the Happy Birthday Brush Script Sentiment in black and white and then adhered it to the card.
    4.  I finished my card off by adding the stars from the Light Up The Night Sprinkles.
Here’s the list of supplies I used on the card above:

Let’s Hang Out Mini Slimline Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. We all need some color in our lives and that was my inspiration using the new Summer Quokkas Stamp Set and the Drift & Hills Stencil. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Cardstock to 3 1/4” x 5 3/4”. Place the Drifts & Hills Stencil on top of the cardstock and apply Distress Oxide Ink with a Blender Brush. I used Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet. Adhere to card front using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

Step 3 – Stamp Summer Quokkas using Gina K Amalgam Ink on White Cardstock. Color in using Alcohol Markers. Fussy cut the images and adhere to card using Bearly Art Precision Glue.

Step 4 – Stamp Lola The Giraffe (sentiment) using Gina K Amalgam Ink.

This card can be used for several occasions by changing the sentiment. Below you will find a link to all the Products Used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

    Pink Tulips

Hello Friends Waleska here super excited to be here with you again to share some tips and quick and easy ideas!  Today I wanted to share a card I did with the beautiful Layered Tulip Bouquet Die, I love this die specially for the fun dimention you can add to the tulips, tulips are my favorite flower and since there are many colors for tulips you can have so much fun making this bouquet in different colors.

    CARD DETAILS:

I started with the main front panel I die cut with the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle with white cardstock and with Oxide Ink Spun Sugar I added ink in the center of this front panel, I wanted a very delicate  look.  I then add some water splashes and also some splashes with Picked Raspberry mixed with water with a fine brush to this panel. I let that dry and I die cut the Tulips with two tones of pink cardstock I love the look of the back part darker than the front layer… I colored with copic makers RV25 RV23 and RV21 to add dimention the soft color of the tulips and I assembled them with 3D Foam and adhere the tulips to the steem that I die cut before with a green cardstock.

I adhere the tulips to the center of the inked panel and finally added the word YOU that I die cut from the Thank You word and shadow die also from Kat Scrappiness I added some of the valentine enamel dots to the card and adhere it to a grey card base.

This is a very general card that you can use for many occasions, I like to have some cards like this on hand!!! I hope you like my card today and can be inspired ! have a nice day! remember to say safe and stay crafty!

    Quokka Party Time

Hi everyone!  Did you enjoy the release last weekend at Kat Scrappiness?  What was your favorite product in the new release?  There were so many great things, but the Summer Quokkas stamp set is my favorite.

How cute is this hula quokka from the set!  I began by die cutting the largest die from the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped dies from the Starlight Jewels patterned paper.  I layered that on a piece of yellow card stock.  I also die cut an Embossed Edge Oval die from the same yellow card stock.  I adhered all these onto a pink mini slimline card base.  The sentiment was heat embossed onto a piece of pink card stock and die cut with the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped die.  I finished off the card by adding the Ice Ice Baby Enamel dots.

My first card features the Summer Quokka stamp set and Mini Slimline Rope Stitched die set.

    Steps to Create Card:

    1. Cut White Card Base: 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″.
    2. Cut Star Layer using Mini Slimline Rope Stitched die set. I used the largest die in the set. you will need to cut your pattern papers slightly bigger to cut out. (Final layer: Red Star 1 1/2″ x 3 1/8″, Blue Star 2 9/16 x 3 1/8″, and Red Star 1 1/2″ x 3 1/8″. Then you will cut a piece of Kraft card stock using the same die and tear off to create the beach. I then added some ink blending with Kraft ink and stamped the sentiment with black ink.
    3. Stamp your images and color with your favorite coloring medium. I used alcohol friendly ink and colored with copic markers. I then fussy cut the images out.
