Happy Retirement Card

Hello Friends! Nora here on the blog today with a fun retirement card using some of the Kat Scrappiness Summer sets. I decided to have the stamped images be the star of the card by making a mini scheme.

Here is how I created this card:

  • On a strip of 1 1/4″ by 5 1/2″ white cardstock, using yellow, blue and brown ink, shade a summer scene.
  • Adhere the inked strip to an A2, white, top folding card.
  • Stamp the umbrella from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Quokka Stamps on white cardstock with black ink. Die cut with the Summer Quokka Coordinating Dies. Color in with Copic markers. Adhere the umbrella to the card front.
  • Stamp the crab, the sun glasses, and shells from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Gnome Add On Stamps on white cardstock with black ink. Die cut with the Summer Gnome Add On Coordinating Dies. Color in with Copic Markers. Adhere the crab and sun glasses on the card front with foam adhesive and use liquid glue to adhere the shells.

  • Stamp the “happy” sentiment on the card front using the Kat Scrappiness Happy Day Stamp Set. Stamp the “retirement” sentiment on a white cardstock strip. Adhere it to the card using foam adhesive.
  • I want to thank you for stopping by the blog today. Make sure to pop back in tomorrow for another project by the fabulous Kat Scrappiness Design Team.

Here is the supplies I used from the Kat Scrappiness Shop on this card. Affiliate links used with no extra cost to you.
