. . . Because It’s Ireland Somewhere

Happy Friday Everyone! Priscilla here from the Kat Scrappiness Design Team. Today I am sharing a St. Patty’s card, perfect for cardmakers who are also coffee lovers. Nothing wrong with adding a “shot of Irish Happiness” to your morning coffee, right?

The adorable quokka from the Kat Scrappiness Everyday Quokka Stamp Set is, for sure, enjoying his “Bailey’s-infused” java.

Card Details:

  • Created an A2 top-folding card base with kraft cardstock.
  • Die cut a green patterned paper with the largest of the Kat Scrappiness  Distressed Edge Rectangle Dies and adhered to the front of the card.
  • Using 2 of the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banner Dies and some coordinating patterned papers, die cut 2 banners for an added design element.
  • Die cut 2 stitched circles and inserted a round plastic shaker pouch in the middle of the smaller one to create the shaker element for card.
  • Added Luck of the Irish Sprinkle Mix in the pouch and adhered the shaker to the front of the card.

  • Stamped the sentiment from Riley & Co, “I put some Bailey’s . . .” onto a white cardstock rectangle, framed it with green glitter paper, and adhered it to front of the card.
  • Colored the quokka, his glasses, and a coffee cup from the Everyday Quokka Stamp Set with Copic Markers, cut them out with the Coordinating Dies, and adhered the quokka to the front of the card.
  • Added one of the rainbow sprinkles from Luck of the Irish Sprinkle Mix to customize the front of the mug.
  • For a finishing touch, added a “Cheers!” speech bubble from my stash.
