Word with Shadows and Cover Plate Dies

Happy Sunday everyone.  I took a break from making holiday cards to create a couple of cards using Word with Shadow dies and Cover Plate dies from the Kat Scrappiness shop.  I used a similar combination of yellow, orange, and red distress oxide inks for these cards.

For my first card, I die cut from white card stock the Petal Burst Backdrop die and used blending brushes with distress oxide inks.  I die cut the Thanks with shadow die from gold glitter paper and vellum.  I adhered these to each and and to the card.  I die cut a strip of white card stock using the Boxed Sentiment strip dies, stamped my sentiment, and adhered it to the card with foam adhesive.  To finish this card, I added champagne jewels.

My second card is a mini slimline card.  I die cut from white card stock the Star Fusion Cover Plate die and ink blended with distress oxide inks.  I die cut the Simply Amazing with shadow die from gold glitter paper and vellum.  I die cut one of the Reversed Scallop Mini slimline dies from white cardstock.  I added dimensional adhesive to the back of the reversed scalloped rectangle and attached my ink blended panel with the star fusion die.  I adhered my sentiment in the center of this panel. I die cut a strip of the gold glitter paper using the Boxed Sentiment strip dies, cut it in half and attached each half to the sides of my card base.  I adhered the panel with the sentiment to the card base.

I love the soft colors of these cards.  What is your favorite word die and cover plate from the Kat Scrappiness shop?

Thanks for stopping by!
