Trick or Treat

Hi, crafty friends! Kevin here again- this time I’m sharing this super cool Halloween card!

I am not much of a Halloween-er but I really love this one! I don’t have any Halloween stamps or dies (order coming soon!!!) so I decided to use Kat’s Christmas Tree die to create this creepy mouth. I used the largest two tree layers as the lips along with the stump for the teeth. After I adhered the teeth to the lips I popped them up with foam dots. I ink blended some Distress Inks onto all the elements of the mouth as well as the cradles, which I made using Kat’s largest stitched square die. For the sentiment I used my label maker to spell out “Trick or Treat” and adhered them at the top of the card. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out the other designers inspiration posts as well as the Kat Scrappiness store– there are a lot of new and restocked items!

Kevin I’m dying over this card! Hilariously adorable! So funny. My daughter would get an absolute kick out of it – I’ll have to show her when she gets home from school. I’ve never been a Halloweener until I had my daughter. Now I get into it more and even make my husband dress up! Love the card!

What a wonderful idea to use the tree parts as lips… Very creative indeed.
