    Hello Friend

    HELLO FRIEND!
Recently Kat Scrappiness  released some fun Rainbow Confetti Paper and it made the cutest background for my card! There are lots of colors in this slimline paper pack for you to choose from and I just love this teal color!
For the main attraction on my card I used one of the adorable Quokkas from the Quokka’n Up Stamp Set
and I cut him out using the Quokka’n Up Coordinating Dies. I just love the adorable polaroid frame this set comes with!

For my sentiment I used the word “friend” from the Hello Crafty Friend Dies. It come in such a pretty scripty font.
To finish my card off I used some pearls from the Peacock Feathers Pearl Mix. There are quite a few pearl mixes in the shop now that have a beautiful pearlescent two tone color to them. There are so many to choose from!
Here’s one more look at this adorable card featuring the adorable Quokka in his polaroid frame!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a great day, I already am!

    Sending Rainbow Hugs Slimline Card

Hi Everyone! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a slimline rainbow card, perfect for a friend just needing a (paper) hug. My card features several new products from the Kat Scrappiness August Release.

Check out Kat’s recent Release Post HERE.

    Let’s get started!

I used one of the papers in the new Rainbow Dreams Slimline Patterned Paper Pad and Kat’Slimline Rainbow Die Setto create a striking focal point for my card.

For my sentiment, I used Kat’Sending Paper Hugs Word Dies; detaching the word “paper” and replacing it with a “Rainbow” stamp from my stash. Next, the Kat Scrappiness Slimline Stitched Cloud Border Die was the perfect compliment to my rainbow! I used one of the new Mini Detail Blending Brushes to lightly edge the clouds in “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide ink.

Do you see the adorable quokka peeking out above the rainbow? I used the just released Quokka’n Up Die Set to cut him out.

For my finishing touch, I scattered a few rhinestones from the new Dark Purple Amethyst Rhinestone Mix on the clouds. Kat’s new Embellishment Spoon was perfect for not just scooping up these rhinestones, but also embossing powders, glitters, sprinkles, and pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagram for more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!

  • Say Cheese!

    Say Cheese!

Hello crafty friends, It’s Lisa here today I am up on the blog with another adorable quokka card for you! I used the selfie loving quokka stamp from the Quokka’n Up stamp set to make this mini slimline card.

I just love how this little guy is taking a selfie with his selfie stick! I placed him in the polaroid frame stamp from the Quokka’n Up stamp set and the “Say Cheese” sentiment is from that set as well.
I am loving the size of the mini slimline cards and  Kat Scrappiness has a great assortment of mini slimline dies. There are some new styles coming to the shop in mid April so make sure you join the Kat Scrappiness Insiders group on Facebook to stay alerted to new product releases, sales and coupons!
Fort this card I used the Mini Slimline Wonky Stitched Dies and I layered a fun piece of patterned paper on top of it to match my polaroid frame.
I also added an extra sentiment to the bottom of the card from the Everyday Brush Strokes stamp set. I thought it went well with the Say Cheese sentiment.
To add a little more interest to my card I added some fun confetti sprinkles in 3 different colors to match my patterned paper.

    Lime Green Confetti Sprinkles

    Bright Yellow Confetti Sprinkles

    Light Blue Confetti Sprinkles

I love to pour out my sprinkles into Kat’s Triangle Embellishment (Sorting) Trays to make them easy to pick up and apply to my cards. There is also an awesome Embellishment Organizer that can hold up to 64 different embellishments. It’s a great way to organize your sequins, confetti and sprinkles all in one place and to see them at a glance!

Here’s a look at all of the supplies I used on my card today.

Thanks so much for joining me today, make sure to check out  Kat Scrappiness for all of your crafty needs. There’s quokka’s and mini slimline dies and TONS of embellishments to choose from!

  • Happy Quokka Mail

    Happy Quokka Mail

Happy Mail is brought to you today by our little Quokka friend!  Isn’t he the cutest?!

For my mini slimline card, I used a design from Heartfelt Wishes Slimline paper pad to layer onto the card base.  I then cut shiny gold cardstock with the Mini Slimline Wonky Stitched die.  The sweet critter from Quokka’n Up is popping out of the Happy Mail (Mailbox) Gift Card Holder – which also can be used as, well, a gift card holder!  On the bottom part of the card, I placed a few Happy Mail and Pink Heart Sprinkles.

  • Quokka Love ❤️

    Quokka Love ❤️

Hello everyone, it’s Lisa from Oh So Cute By Lisa here with you today! I hope you’re having a good day, if not than just take a look at my card and it should brighten it up! That cute little animal is called a Quokka and it is known as the world’s happiest animal! If you’re interested in learning a little bit more about this adorable little marsupial, you can read this POST where I went into a little more detail.

The Quokka is the main character of the brand new

stamp set from Kat Scrappiness called Quokka’n Up!

This Quokka a selfie loving animal and will add the cute to your cards and projects!

For my card today I did some watercoloring on a beautiful rose themed background.
I used the Stitched Scalloped Border dies to cut some white card stock for the top and bottom of my card.
I thought they framed the roses beautifully and toned down the busy pattern. Once I had the two scalloped panels glued down I tucked my cute little Quokka into the bottom panel and added the sentiments to the top and bottom of the card. To finish it off I added some fun bling to the sentiments by adding a trail of White Jewels and a single sweet Red Heart Sprinkle.
To make placing my embellishments easier I used the brand new Embellishment Pick Up Tool and Triangle Embellishment Tray recently released by Kat Scrappiness.  No more embellishments all over my desk and on the floor and the pick up tool makes placement a breeze!
I hope you enjoyed my card today and I hope you’ll check out all of the fun crafty goodness over at
Kat Scrappiness! New products are arriving frequently and the signature line of Kat Scrappiness stamps, dies, embellishments, patterned paper and tools is expanding quickly!

  • Sending Hugs Friend New Quokkas

Hello Friends Waleska here to share with you a fun Slimline shaker card with the new Quokka´n Up stamp.

    CARD DETAILS:

I started this card by creating the shaker polaroids.  To create the shakers I die cut 6 pieces of the polaroid diecuts and glue them together to get dimension.

I then glue the acetate on the front of the acetates and glue another in the front to cover the acetate.

I ink blend some backgrounds for the polaroids with a cloud stencil, I also colored the Quokkas with copic markers.

I finally glue the quokkas to the polaroids and added the sequence to the inside of the polaroids with some glitter I glue the cloud backgrounds to the three frames.

I glue all the polaroid frames to a slimline card base, I used the Double Stitched Nesting Slimline dies and the Fancy Scalloped Nesting Slimline die I added the sentiments to all the polaroids.  This is such a fun card I love those cute faces of the Quokkas!!

I hope you like this card and can be inspired to create some fun Slimline shakers!!! Have a wonderful day Friends!!

    Quokka’n Up with Kat Scrappiness

I’d like to introduce you to the Quokka!

    The world’s happiest animal!

Isn’t that the cutest face you’ve ever seen?

Hi, it’s Lisa here from Oh So Cute By Lisa and you might ask
why I’m introducing you to the Quokka? Well, Kat Scrappiness has come out with a new stamp set called Quokka’n Up featuring this adorable marsupial! Marsupial you ask? Yes a marsupial…… here is a brief history lesson on this adorable chipmunk looking creature.
The Quokka is found on some smaller islands off of the coast of Western Australia and is
the only land mammal on Rattnest Island. They are marsupials which means that they have a pouch that their baby Joey stays in. Just like the Kangaroo! They are herbivores and they eat grass and leaves. They live for an average of 10 years.
I’d like to thank my son Matthew for researching this adorable little guy for me. I had never heard of a Quokka up until now but Matthew knew all about them.  He’s a huge animal buff and he was more than happy to provide me with some interesting facts that I’d thought I’d pass along to you.
Here is the adorable new stamp set from Kat Scrappiness appropriately called Quokka’n Up!
Here are a few cards I made using this cute new stamp set with this selfie loving cutie!
My second card is a slimline card with a bright happy scene and a Quokka couple!
Aren’t they just adorable together! This card is also showcasing the brand new slimline dies available now at Kat Scrappiness called the Fancy Scalloped Nesting dies. I also added some fun bling on this card with the Clear Sparkling Jewels.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you learned a little bit about this cute little animal from Australia!
