Hi Friends! kel here today to share a fun gift set using the new Owl Envelope Art stamp set!!
My niece absolutely loves owls (and birds in general!) and loves crafting with me so when I saw this set I knew I wanted to make her a set of cards that she could finish/color and give to her friends! I started by stamping this owl + sign on some white A2 envelopes. It’s tricky for me to stamp with large images, but this one was easy to use! I just had to clean out the middle of the sign on the stamp itself before I put it to paper because I tend to smoosh my ink pad in there and get ink everywhere lol!
Then I stamped the little individual owl from the new Owl Envelope Art stamp set 3x onto a card front. I also used the bold Happy Mail sentiment. I figured that was sentiment enough on the outside; she could put whatever sentiment and message she wanted on the inside and it would definitely still be relevant!
Because I gifted her with some crayons to color these cuties up, I didn’t worry about what ink pad I used. So I just grabbed the closest one to me lol!! It ended up being the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. I had to use my Tim Holtz Tonic Stamp Platform to stamp that image out because I wanted to make sure it was a nice dark-lined image for her to color but it worked out so nicely! Stamping multiple times in the exact same spot was a piece of cake with that platform!
I’m sure she’ll love it… and I’m also pretty sure I’ll be stamping out more for her very soon! Thanks for stopping by friends!
