Hey Crafters! Priscilla here with three fun Easter cards using Kat’s “Zig-Zag” dies and some Echo Park 6 x 6 Easter patterned papers.
My first card was really fun to create! I used the Lawn Fawn“How You Bean” stamp set and the “Shaker Add-on” dies to create a jar full of Kat‘s Easter sequins.
I watched this Lawn FawnYouTube video to help me create the shaker jar . . . it was really simple to do. I used one of Kat‘s square “Zig-Zag” dies to create an opening in the center of some pink plaid paper from the Echo Park “Easter Wishes” paper pad and then foam mounted it onto an A2 card base. I used a “Bead Board” embossing folder to give some texture to the white card stock behind the jar. The “happy easter” line border die is also from Lawn Fawn. The fun part was filling the jar! I used a mixture of Kat‘s “Easter Egg Hunt,” “Chicken or the Egg,” and “Easter Egg Parade” sequin mixes.
My second card features the “Painting Eggs Riley” cling stamp.
I used four of Kat’s dies on this card — the largest of her “Cross Stitched Rectangle” dies, two of the Zig-Zag Rectangle dies, and the “Brush Script Happy Easter” word die. The die sentiment and “Riley” the moose were both Copic colored. The pink gingham paper is from the Echo Park “Easter Wishes” paper pad. To finish off this card, I used Kat’s “Easter Egg Parade” sequin mix and also her “Mixed Flowers Sprinkles.”
My third and final card features Kat’s “Brush Script Happy Easter” word die cut from a daisy paper found in the Echo Park “Easter Wishes” paper pad. I mounted it on a background created with a dotted Swiss embossing folder.
Above the die sentiment, both the yellow gingham and daisy papers were edged with Kat‘s “Zig-Zag Border Dies.” The finishing touches for this card were the chicks and eggs from the “Chicken or the Egg” sequin mix.
Here’s all three Easter cards . . . .
Well, that’s all for today. See you again soon!
