Bring a Classic Holiday Scene to Life – A Christmas in July Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs.  Today I am sharing a magical “Christmas in July” creation using the Kat Scrappiness The Night Before Christmas Window Scene Craft Dies. This card features a warm and festive living room view—complete with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the window, adorned with tiny gold baubles and topped with a shimmering star. Outside the window, snowflakes fall softly while Santa and his reindeer soar across a starry navy sky—bringing a classic holiday scene to life. And after all, even in July, Santa’s sleigh is still in flight! 🎅✨

    Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing an easy Christmas in July themed hand sanitizer holder featuring the Dress Up Quokka Stamp Set!

The cute little quokka images were stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die sets to easily cut out the quokkas and their little sweaters. I love the polar bear sweater!

  • Christmas In July – Merry Christmas Shaker Card

Christmas In July – Merry Christmas Shaker Card

    Hi Crafters!

We are still celebrating Christmas in July here at Kat Scrappiness.  It has really put me in the mood to make Christmas cards, they are my favorite!

I tend to use fun/bright colors on my cards, so it was good to get out of my comfort zone and use brown/gold tones for this card.  I absolutely love the way it turned out.

I found a piece of light brown patterned paper with gold snowflakes on it from my stash.  I used the double stitched rectangle dies to cut out a panel from the patterned paper.  I then used the double stitched circle dies to cut a circle from this piece.  As you can see, the double stitched circle die left stitches on the outside of the circle.

I used the VersaMark watermark pen with a ruler to draw a line from the top of the circle to the edge of the paper.  I covered the line with gold embossing powder and heat set it.  I also heat embossed the sentiment Merry Christmas from the Merry Critters stamp set onto a Stitched Fishtail banner die cut from kraft card stock.

I backed the circle opening with clear acetate and attached gold glitter paper to my kraft card base.  I added Golden Anniversary sequins to create the shaker part of the card and attached it to the card base using dimensional adhesive.  I die cut the bow from Lawn Fawn’s Mini Picture Frame dies in gold glitter paper and attached it to the top of the circle to create the ornament.

To finish the card, I added the sentiment banner with dimensional adhesive.

  • Christmas in July – No Stamping, All Dies

Christmas in July – No Stamping, All Dies

    Hi Crafters!

We are celebrating Christmas in July here at Kat Scrappiness.  I’m thinking cool thoughts in the 100 degree weather here in Oklahoma!  Keep reading for a sale and giveaway at the end of the post.

Today I have fun and simple card using some great Kat Scrappiness dies.

I used three Kat Scrappiness dies to create this card:

To create the card, I cut a piece of brown card stock to fit the front of my A2 sized card.  I used an embossing folder with a knit pattern to add some texture to the card.  I adhered this to the card base.  I adhered the three layers of Merry Christmas together and then to the card base using Nuvo Deluxe adhesive.

I adhered the white zig zag square to the card base and added each stocking using foam adhesive.  To finish off the card, I added three brown jewels.
