    Happy Halloween Shaker Card

Hi Crafty friends! Sammi here to share a card I made with the new Creepy & Kooky 6×6 cardstock along with some awesome Halloween dies from Kat Scrappiness. Have you checked out all of the Halloween shaker mixes that Kat Scrappiness has in stock? WOW is what comes to mind when I look at all of the Halloween goodies! You must go check it out!

For my card today, I wanted to use some of the Halloween shaker mixes so I decided to make a shaker card! Here is how I made my card:

    1. I cut out a piece of black cardstock sized 4.25″x5.5″ and then glued the white webbed cardstock from the Creepy & Kooky cardstock using Bearly Art glue and then set it aside.
    2. Using the A2 Frame dies, I created my shaker piece by cutting out the frame 6 times and gluing the pieces together to add dimension, adding acetate before gluing the top piece. I ink blended the top piece purple using Distress Ink before gluing it down on top. I then created a cloud background using the Slimline Stitched Cloud Border die (I used it as a stencil) and ink blended the green and purple using distress ink. Before I glued the framed piece onto the cloud background, I added some BOO-TACULAR Sequin Mix and then glue the piece together making my shaker piece.
    3. Using the Creep Crawly dies, I cut out the circle web and larger spider, then glued them onto the corner of the shaker piece with the spider hanging down. I then cut out some ghosts using the Boo-gy Ghosts dies and edged them with Distress Ink and added them to the shaker piece. I then cut out the Happy Halloween w/ shadow die three times and glued them on top of each other to add dimension and then ink blended the top with Distress Ink. I then glued the sentiment onto the shaker piece.
    4. I then glued the shaker piece onto the prepared card panel from step #1 and then added some Lime Green Jewel Mix to add some bling.
    5. I then glued the card pane onto a card base.

That’s it! I just love shaker cards! I hope you have enjoyed my card and have a great day!

  • Not-So-Spooky Halloween Card!

    Not-So-Spooky Halloween Card!

Good morning Kat Scrappiness Friends! Tasha here sharing a Not-So-Spooky Halloween card featuring the new Boo-Gy Ghosts Dies and Creepy & Kooky Paper Pad!

The background was created with a cloud stencil and gray Distress Oxide Ink for the sky. For the ground, I used a piece of scrap paper to mask off the Bottom section and added green ink to look like grass, I love this green and gray color combination! I also added a fence from the Crafters Essentials Halloween Die Set to go with the Halloween look.

The sentiment “It’s time to get Spooky!” was embossed in white and I added orange paper to bring in more color. This greeting pops with the bright white words!

The ghosts are from the new Kat Scrappiness Boo-Gy Ghosts Dies. These little ghosts are so cute and I love the extra accessories! I also like that there are so many different styles, so you can mix and match to customize your project!

Lastly, I added a piece of spider web pattern paper from the new Creepy & Kooky Paper Pad and attached another layer of orange paper before adhering the card to a white card base.

    The completed card measures 5″ x 6-1/4″

Thank you for checking out today’s card and I hope you are inspired to create a not-so-spooky Halloween card!

Hello Friends Waleska Galindo here, are you excited for Halloween??? Well I am Halloween is my favorite and Halloween cards are my favorite to make!  Today I want to share a super cute and fun Slimline card I created,  I hope you like it and can be inspired by it!

    CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started with the base I used the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline Dies  I used a purple cardstock, with the Slimline Never Ending Nesting dies I cut the second panel, for this panel I used the Boo To You Slimline paper.  I then cut my favorite ghost from the Boo-gy Ghosts Dies three times.  My idea was to make them look like ghost photos, ha ha!

I then cut from white cardstock the photo die from the Quokka’n up Coordinating Dies, I adhered a back paper on each from the same paper collection and adhered the ghosts to each photo.  I used the Toil and Troubled Layered Stamp Set for the sentiments I stamped at the bottom of each photo, I adhered the photos to the base of the card and done! Super cute and easy card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have and amazing Halloween!
