    Chanukah is Almost Here!

Welcome back to the blog Kat Scrappiness fans!

We interrupt this Christmas card making frenzy to bring you a few Chanukah cards. Since Chanukah is so early this year you might want to start making some cards now so you have them in time!

Chanukah starts December 3rd this year so you don’t have much time, but don’t worry because I have 2 extra cute cards to share with you to give you some ideas.

The first card I made uses the stamp set by Stamping Bella called

    “Teeny Tiny Townie Chanukah”

After I stamped and colored the cute little girl and menorah I die cut the image out with the second largest Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Black Onyx ink under the image, it’s my favorite go to ink for stamping crisp black sentiments.

To add some color to the background I pulled out my Doodlebug Swiss Dots Paper Pack The yellow and blue dot paper matched the card perfectly.

To add some sparkle to the card I reached for some Yellow and Blue jewels and spread them out in varying sizes. I love using my Crystal Katana for picking up jewels and sequins, it makes it so easy!

My go to adhesive for adhering jewels and sequins is Glossy Accents.

The second Chanukah card I have to share with you today features an adorable Chanukah stamp set by Neat and Tangled. This set is called Darling Dreidels and will be available in the shop very soon!

Here is my second card using that set:

Those cute little Dreidel kids were so much fun to color! I cut out the star wreath using the Avery Elle Star Frame die in metallic gold paper. It really gave my card some extra shine and interest! I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment in Versafine Black Onyx ink and heat embossing it with WOW Clear embossing powder. I backed the sentiment strip with a black piece of card stock to really make it stand out.

This has to be one of the most unique Chanukah stamp sets I’ve ever seen and I can’t wait to make some more cards with it!

If you are in need of Chanukah cards this year I hope I have inspired you!

    SHIELD YOUR EYES!!

    ??????

Ok so I may have gotten a little carried away with the glitter and sparkle but I just couldn’t help it! Everyone knows that when you are making anything unicorn related it has to

    SPARKLE AND SHINE!

Good morning Kat Scrappiness fans and welcome back to the blog.  For today’s card I have a unicorn shaker card made with the OH SO POPULAR Crafters Essentials 1 dies. The fun 3 panel die in this set really lends itself to shaker cards!

There are over 400 varieties of sequin mixes in the Kat Scrappiness shop that you can go

    SHAKER CARD CRAZY with!

For my card I filled those panels with the dreamy Fairy Dust Confetti Mix.

Oh those colors are just heavenly!

I used the Pinkfresh Studio stamp set Magical Unicorn for the fun unicorn horn and headband and I also used the Avery Elle Star Frame Die to add some gold star embellishments to the headband. For some added greenery in the headband I used the tree die cuts from the Lawn Fawn Flamingo Together stamp and die set.

So I admit this card is a little over the top but if you need a birthday card for a pre-teen girl in love with unicorns then it’s just perfect!

Here is a picture of all the supplies used on today’s card.  I will link all the supplies below as well.
