- Adhered a vintage feel tissue paper across a two-page spread and sponged turquoise acrylic paint over it.
- Brushed “Vintage Photo” Distress Oxide ink along the edges.
- Added texture with embossing pastes and the Kat Scrappiness Love is in the Air and Burlap Background stencils.
- Colored the stamped images from the Vintage Romance collection with Copic Markers and die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
- Adhered them across the two-page spread, backing several of the images with a pink patterned paper from the Vintage Romance paper pad.
- Added the title “Vintage Romance” using tiles from my stash.
- Adhered a metal embellishment also from my stash for added interest.
- Created a medallion element by staining a white doily with tea colored ink and then adhering a a circle of patterned paper from the Vintage Romance paper pad over it.

- Adhered the medallion to the top of the left page, cutting off the excess.
- Sprinkled several heart images from the Vintage Romance stamp/die set across the spread.
- Completed the junk journal by stapling a fun film strip embellishment to the camera image.
- Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
- Cut a small piece of cardstock and laid the Party Balloons stencil over it.
- Using the new Kat Scrappiness blending brushes, inked over the stencil openings with both orange and yellow pigment inks to turn the balloons into “fried eggs”, being careful not to ink up the balloon strings.
- Die cut a rectangular opening in the finished cardstock to create an opening.
- Added foam tape to the back of the newly created frame and adhered it to the card base.
- Adhered the center cutout back into the opening.
- Stamped and die cut the chick image from the Easter Fun stamp set and colored it with Copic markers.
- Adhered the chick to the opening in the front of the card.
- Die cut a black frame and adhered it around the center opening of the card.
- Stamped the sentiment from the Hippity Hoppity Sentiments stamp set on an inked cardstock strip, framed it in black, and then adhered it with foam tape to the front of the card.
- Added three Sunny-Side Up Egg Sprinkles for the finishing touch!
- Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
- Created a D.I.Y. stencil by using the Kat Scrappiness Large Filigree Egg Craft Die to die cut a mylar stencil sheet.
- Sprayed adhesive spray on the back of the stencil before laying it over a piece of white cardstock.
- Softly blended pink pigment ink over the stencil with one of Kat’s new Mini Detail Blending Brushes, making sure not to blend the ink all the way to the edges of the stencil for a more “organic” look.
- Framed the finished layer with a piece of patterned paper from the Blue Faux Glitter paper pad.
- Adhered both layers to the card base.
- Colored Riley and his eggs using Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers and cut him out using my Brother “Scan N Cut 2″ machine, and then adhered him to the front of the card.
- Die cut the sentiment using the Happy Easter Shadow Sentiment Craft Die and the same patterned paper from the Blue Faux Glitter paper pad, and then adhered it over the top of the stenciled egg.
- Added five Cotton Candy Glow Glitter Sequins for the finishing touch!

Today I am sharing a two-page “Junk Journal” spread with a “vintage vibe” using several products from the Kat Scrappiness “Vintage Romance” collection of stamps, dies, and patterned papers. Sometimes it’s just fun to take a break from clean and simple card making and get messy! And with junk journaling, there are no rules! Enjoy!

Along with the Kat Scrappiness Vintage Romance Stamps/dies and Vintage Romance paper pad, I used Kat’s Love is in the Air stencil and Burlap Background stencil to create this junk journal.

Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a funny card featuring one of the images from the Kat Scrappiness “Easter Fun” stamp set. This poor chick just realized that his brother Pete met the somber demise that most eggs do. I created the bright background by using Kat’s “Party Balloons” stencil, BUT I turned it sideways to look like egg yolks! Then I used Kat’s new blending brushes to blend orange and yellow inks over the openings in the stencils. Viola! Not balloons anymore, but fried eggs!

Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a card featuring “Riley the Moose” painting some Easter eggs. The soft backdrop behind Riley was done be creating a D.I.Y. stencil from a large filagree egg die and softly blending pink ink over it.

I used the Kat Scrappiness Large Filigree Egg Craft Die, Happy Easter Shadow Sentiment Craft Die, and Blue Faux Glitter paper pad to make today’s card.
