Ready for Easter by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends. I am so happy to share with you two of my Easter cards. I am ready with them!

Ready for Easter by Martha Lucia

Pastel color are my favorites for this season and I decided to create the background of my card using a white layer of card stock and applying the ink directly over the top face with the ink pad. I used Kaleidacolor Ink from Imagine in Baby Powder colors. I resized the piece to coordinate with a mat that I created with the large size of the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle. I pasted the entire piece directly over a Lilac card base.

In a separate piece of white card stock, I stamped the small rabbit included on the stamp set Build a Bunny from Kat Scrappiness. I made twice using the different faces included on the same set. I colored both bunnies with Illustrator Markers from Spectrom Noir and fussy cut with scissors. Then usng the Happy Easter with Shadow Die y finalized the card.

My next project is another Easter card that I made with the Crafters Essentials Easter Edition Dies.

For this card I also used the pastel colors and to create the background I used a embossing folder. I pasted it directly over the card base and finalized the decoration with some of the dies included on the Easter Essentials, the rabbit and the butterflies.

I pasted the rabbits with crafty foam tape and added more interest to them pasting a White Bunny Tails.

Thank you for stopping by and remember that these dies are not only to make Easter projects. You can use them all the year and simply change the colors and create different looks.

    See you soon!

    Easter’s On It’s Way

Hippity, hoppity…Easter’s on it’s way!  I’m looking forward to Spring with warm weather, blooming flowers and seeing the bunnies in our yard again!  Until then, I’ll just have to enjoy a little Spring in my craft room 🙂

Kat Scrappiness’ newest release has everything you need to create adorable Easter and Spring projects!

For my card, I layered a light blue cardstock cut with one of the Embossed Edge Rectangle Dies.  Using elements from the Crafter’s Essentials Easter Edition Dies, I cut the grass, basket and egg halves.  I love this set…it has so many wonderful dies to use for many occasions!

And how cute is the new Stitched Easter Bunny Outline Dies?!!  I tucked this little guy into the basket and filled it with paper grass.  After edging the egg halves with a light ink, I added these darling embellishments:  Carrot, Chickadee and Hot Pink Bunny Sprinkles.

To finish, I cut lime green cardstock using the Brush Script Happy Easter Word Dies.

“Bunny-chaun” Card |The Easter Bunny Meets a Leprechaun | Giveaway!

Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I have a special card that celebrates both St. Patrick’s Day and Easter . . . together! And stay tuned. At the end of this blog post, you can find out how to win the Kat Scrappiness “Crafters Essentials-Easter” die collection, on MY BLOG, Nubble Light Designs.

Kat Scrappiness just released the “Build-A-Bunny” stamp set and dies. With St. Patrick’s Day and leprechauns right around the corner, and  Easter soon after, I thought it would be fun to somehow “merge” the two together –Viola! Meet the “Bunny-chaun” . . . where “Build-a-Bunny” takes residence in a leprechaun’s pot of gold. And the whole card scene was created using the Doodlebug “Lots O’ Lucky” paper pad and embellishments.

I started by die cutting the bunny and stamping its features in green ink. I added a tail and then cut off his ears and “flopped” them downward, so he can could wear a leprechaun hat. I modified the long bow  image that come in the set to make it look more like a bow tie.

To make the black “pot of gold,” I removed the handle on the Easter basket die cut from the “Crafters Essentials-Easter” die collection. I punched out the gold coins with a circle punch from gold glitter card stock and placed them around the edges of the pot, and then inserted the “Bunny-chaun.” I finished off the bottom of the card using the grass die from the Kat Scrappiness “He is Risen” die collection.  The die cut sentiment, rainbow, and gold hearts are all from the Doodlebug  “Lots O’ Lucky” embellishment pack.

    Sweet Spring and Easter

Hello Friends, Waleska here better known as craftinglovew super happy to be a Guest Designer for this Month.    I love Spring and Easter so when I saw the newest release from Kat Scrappiness I was very excited to create with the Amazing new release.

I created a lot of cards with the new dies using soft spring colors yellow, pink, purple and teal, I wanted a collection of cards using a soft and sweet color combo.

    CARD DETAILS #1

The new Filigree Egg die is so beautiful and detailed definetely my favorite.  To create this card I started by inking a white card base with Oxide Inks in colors Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade and Shaded Lilac, then I die cut the Filigree Egg die and I adhere it to a Vellum piece.  I put some Chicken or Egg Sequins.  I cut the Filigree Egg Die again on a white card base but this time I used only the egg shape and adhere the ink blended Filigree to that front panel.  I used a gray card base and die cut the Easter Blessings word die but only used the Easter word as well as the bow from the Easter Essentials from Kat Scrappiness with the same colors I used on the card.

    CARD DETAILS #2

For my second card I used the Faberge Egg with Cross new die.   I cut this beautiful die cut  from a pink shimery paper and I ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade Oxide Ink where I wanted to adhere this diecut.    I cut a strip of violet cardstock for the bottom of my front panel and with the same violet cardstock I cut the Happy Easter Word die with shadow but used only the word Easter for this one to finish I adhere some Chicken or Egg Sequins.

    CARD DETAILS #3

For my last card I used a stencil for the background with oxide inks in colors: Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Cracked Pistachio I cut the crosses from the He is Risen dies and He is Risen word and Shadow dies with white cardstock and pink cardstock for the word shadow.

I had so much fun creating this three cards, I hope you feel inspired to create Spring or Easter cards and don’t forget to check out the new Kat Scrappiness Release with all this amazing new products!   Have a great day and remember Stay Creative!

Have A Happy Easter With KatScrappiness

Hi there friends, LeeAnn here with my first Guest post with Kat Scrappiness. I am so excited to be here with the team this month and bring this great product to you.

For my project I have made an adorable Easter card using the Build A Bunny stamp set which is part of this months release. In making this card I used paper from the Echo Park “I Love Easter” 6×6 paper pad. I used Paper Studio mint green cardstock for my layers, and Recollections white as my base and for these adorable bunnies. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped the bunny three times, for two of them I stamped the “fluffy” tail, and the third I stamped the face, collar, ears and paws… I love these little bunnies, they are just so adorable. For the two facing backwards I used a Pastel Pink tail on one and Pastel Teal on the other. I glued some of the egg’s from “Easter Egg Hunt” around some tucked under layers and some out in the open. I really had fun with this.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and project.
