Hello crafty friends! Sammi here to show you how to make the most awesome Mickey Mouse card using Kat Scrappiness dies, paper and embellishments. I LOVE Mickey Mouse, so I just had to make this card! Let’s get started!
- The first thing I did was get out the Neverending Circle Dies and select my circles for Mickey’s head and ears and cut out the base circle using the yellow paper in the Spectrum of Love paper pack and acetate. I then took the same circle dies and added the next smallest circle die and cut out the circle rim with black cardstock and some black fun foam. I then assembled the shaker pieces together adding the Mouse Ears Sprinkles and sealing them together.
- I then took the Stitched Rectangle Dies and cut out a piece of cardstock and ink blended the cardstock with Distress Inks red, and then added some black ink around the edges to add a distressed look. I then matted the cardstock piece with black and then yellow cardstock. I then glued the shaker ears and head onto the red cardstock piece to form a Mickey image.
- I then stamped and colored the Quokka with Copics. I wanted him to wear Mickey Ears, so I hand drew Mickey Ears and fussy cut it out and added some black enamel dots for the ears. I then glued the Mickey Ears onto the Quokka. Using foam tape, I glued the Quokka onto the card panel.
- I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Happy Day stamp set and fussy cut the Happy sentiment and cut the Birthday sentiment into a strip and glued them onto the card panel
- I finished the card panel by adding some Onyx Black Pearl Mix embellishments and glued onto a card base.
I LOVE this card! Mickey Mouse is one of my favorites and I just love how this came out! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!!
