    ADAM KARLE

     

     

    I love the simplicity of this card by Adam.  He used the Zigzag Nesting Slimline die and die-cut the card stock in different colors to create his design.  He added the Brush Script “hello” and black enamel dots to finish his design. Simple and elegant!

     

     

    CAREN BARTHOLOMEW

    Two amazing cards by Caren.  First card is with the Zig-Zag Nesting Slimline die and the Wok-On stamp set.   Second card below uses the Cross-Stitched Slimline Nesting dies and the Merry Christmas with Shadow dies.

     

     

     

     

    YT DT MEMBER – JO THOMPSON

     

     

    This fall scene by Jo is just AMAZING!  She also has a process video for us today on how she created this card.

     

     

     

     

     

    KATHY SCHWEINFURTH

     

     

    I love this shaker card by Kathy.  She used the Cross-Stitched Nesting Slimline dies to create the frame on her shaker card using a mix of the new sprinkles, and added the Santa from the Christmas Gnomes stamp set and Merry Christmas with Shadow.

     

    The second card below was shared on the blog earlier this week, showcasing the Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp set and Zig-zag Nesting Slimline dies.

     

     

     

     

    LISA GOLZBEIN

     

    A crafty card by Lisa, showcasing the Zig-Zag Nesting Slimline die, Distressed Edge Nesting Slimline dies and the Crafter’s Gonna Craft stamp set.  Perfect card for a crafty friend!

     

     

    MARIA RUSSELL

     

    My first card was created by die-cutting the Cross-Stitched Slimline panel on white card stock.   I used the Everyday Brush Strokes stamp set and stamped the image a few times in rainbow order.  Finishing the design by adding the “you” from the Thank You with Shadow die and Sparkling Clear Droplets sampler pack for added texture.

     

     

    I used the Zig-Zag Nesting Slimline die as well as the Zig-zag rectangle dies to adorn the background for my Thanksgiving Gnomes.   The berries came from the Happy Fall Y’all stamp set.  I wanted to use a funny sentiment (available at the shop) from Riley & Co. called Vegetarian Cling Stamp that I thought went perfectly with this scene.  It makes me laugh!

     

     

    MARTHA GOMEZ

     

    Martha shared her blog post yesterday on how she created this card, using the Zig-zag Nesting Slimline die and the Owl Envelope Art stamp set.

    Meghan is spoiling us today with 3 AMAZING CARDS, showcasing the Cross-Stitched Nesting Slimline dies, sprinkles, Cityscape Slimline die, and Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp set.  She will be sharing a blog post on how she created these cards.  I can’t even pick a favorite!

    Love both cards by Priscilla.  The first one uses the Zig-zag nesting slimline dies and the Crafter’s Gonna Craft stamp set.

    The second card was created using the Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp set, Cross-Stitched Nesting Slimline dies along with the Crafter’s Essential Fall die-set.

    A “sweet” and simple card by Tina showcasing the Zig-zag Nesting Slimline die and the Sweet Word sentiment die.  I love the simplicity of this card but creates a huge impact.

    This card design by Adam is brilliant!  He used the Cross-Stitched Nesting Slimline die along with the Distressed-edge and Stitched Slimline Waves.  The Thanksgiving Gnomes were colored and foam-mounted onto the card in front of the sun and pine tress, die-cut using the Crafter’s essential Winter die set.   His sentiment came from the Happy Fall Y’all stamp set.

     

     

     

    CAREN BARTHOLOMEW

     

     

    I adore this clean & simple design by Caren.  Her background panel along with the patterned paper were die-cut using the Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangle die set.  She used a stencil for added texture and foam-mounted the gnomes on the card for more dimension.

     

    I love, love, love this Christmas card!  The patterned paper was die-cut using the Distressed Edge Slimline die and adhered on a red mat.  She adorned her card with the Gingerbread die-cut using the Design a Gingerbread die set, and finished her design with the Happy Holidays sentiment.

     

     

    YT DT MEMBER – JO THOMPSON

     

     

    Words cannot even describe how much I love this Thanksgiving card by Jo.  She also has a process video of her card and it is AMAZING!

     

     

     

     

    KATHY SCHWEINFURTH

     

    Kathy’s card designs are always phenomenal!  She used the Distressed-Edge Slimline die to create the frame, and added the images from the Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp set.  She used a lot of the new sprinkles as her shaker element and finished her design by adding the Thank you sentiment with shadow.

     

     

     

    LISA GOLZBEIN

     

    I am a sucker for shaker cards and this one by Lisa did not disappoint!  This is honestly one of the cutest shaker cards i’ve ever seen!  Her cross-stitched slimline panel was ink-blended with distress oxide inks.  The images were beautifully colored and fussy-cut with precision snips, and adhered onto the panel with liquid glue.  The windows were die-cut using the double-stitched square dies and for her shaker element, she used the Happy Pumpkin sprinkles.

     

     

     

    MARIA RUSSELL

     

     

    I ink-blended the background with Picked Raspberry, Antique Linen and Tattered rose distress oxide inks.  I used the Falling Leaves stencil by Newton’s Nook (available at the shop) to add more texture to the background.  The frame was cut using the Distressed-Edge Slimline die on some black card stock to make the images pop!  The Thanksgiving Gnomes, turkey and pumpkins were colored using TriBlend markers by Spectrum Noir.  I finished my design with the sentiment (stamped and heat set on some black card stock) foam-mounted onto the card for added dimension.

     

     

    MARTHA GOMEZ

     

    Isn’t this slimline card so cute?!   The glittered background was die-cut using the Distressed-Edge slimline die.  The gnomes were colored with alcohol markers and foam-mounted onto the card for added dimension.  The background tree was die-cut using the Crafter’s essential Fall die set.

     

     

    Another cute card from Martha, using the turkey and leaves images from the Thanksgiving Gnomes, the Cross Stitched Nesting Slimline die set along with the Distressed-Edge Slimline dies.

     

     

     

    MEGHAN KENNIHAN

     

     

    I always ADORE Meghan’s cards.  She used the Distressed-Edge Slimline die and ink-blended this panel with some Distress oxide inks.  She also used her Copic markers to add more texture.  The snow-capped mountains were die-cut using a die from her collection.  To finish her design, she added the “You Rock” sentiment and purple enamel dots.

     

     

    PRISCILLA JOSEPH

     

    Priscilla is spoiling us today with three samples!

     

    The first card is so DREAMY!  Priscilla ink-blended the Distressed-Edge Slimline die with some distress oxide inks.  She adhered this panel on a slimline card base.   To create her scene, she added the moon die-cut using the never-ending circle die and used the Slimline Layered Cityscape die set.  She added some gold speckles onto the card using some gold watercolor.  To finish her design, she added the Love you to the moon and back sentiment in gold.

     

     

    Priscilla is showing versatility by creating two A2-size cards using the Thanksgiving Gnomes stamp set along with the previously released Happy Fall Y’all stamp.   I love the funny card above when she used the turkey and added some baby chicks images with the speech bubble!

     

     

     

    TINA DORNBAUM

     

    A cute and funny card by Tina.  She used the Cross-Stitched Slimline die for her background and created a shaker card with the Woodgrain Framed Diamond wire die and used the Hey Chickadee sprinkles as her shaker element. Her focal image, the turkey from the Thanksgiving Gnome stamp set is holding the sign that says “Eat Chicken” is hilarious!

     

     

    YT DT MEMBER – SANDRA BEUS

     

     

    I am just in awe when I saw this sample by Sandra.  She die-cut different variation of blue card stock using the Distressed-Edge Slimline die and added the cute images on this card to create a wonderful ocean-themed card.  She also has a special treat for us with a process video below:

     

     

     

    WALESKA GALINDO

     

     

    What an adorable card from Waleska.  The distressed panel was die cut using the Distressed-Edge Slimline dies and stained with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  She added some fall leaves to adorn her focal image with the pumpkins, using the Thanksgiving Gnome stamp set and finished her design by adding some sequins.  I just love the simplicity of this Thanksgiving slimline card.  Well done, Waleska!

    KS July Release – Day 2 – More Slimline Dies, Coffee Background & Christmas Gnomes

    For todays reveal, we are showcasing a few Slimline dies –> the Stitched Wave, Stitched Hills and Wonky Slimlines with the Coffee Background die and the Christmas Gnome stamp set.  Design Team member, Sandra is showcasing (the previously released) Lola the Giraffe stamp set but the coordinating die didn’t come in time for this release.  Here’s what the dies and stamp set looks like:

    WAVE SLIMLINE DIE – MEGHAN

     

     

    Meghan created this AMAZING summer-themed slimline card!  She stamped the images using the Summer Gnomes and Summer Gnome Add-on stamp sets and colored the images in with her Copic markers.  She used her Scan N Cut machine to die-cut the images.  The scalloped background panel was die-cut using the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline die, and ink-blended with distress oxide ink.  Meghan masked off the clouds using a Clouds stencil.  The beach wave was die-cut using the Stitched Wave Slimline die and the sand hill was die-cut using the Stitched Hills Slimline die.  Here’s a closer look:

    STITCHED HILLS SLIMLINE DIE – WALESKA GALINDO

     

     

    WOW, WOW, WOW!  I just LOVE this card!   To create her scene, Waleska inked up her background panel (die cut using the Wonky Slimline die) with a Sunburst stencil and some distress oxide ink.  The water was die-cut using the Stitched Waves Slimline die and the hills using the Stitched Hills slimline die.  She finished her design by adding the images from the Summer Gnomes Add-On stamp set.  Does anyone else feel like going to the beach now?  I do!

     

     

     

    WONKY SLIMLINE DIE – PRISCILLA JOSEPH

     

     

    Priscilla also created a summer-themed card.  This scene reminds me of the time I was vacationing in The Maldives when I saw dolphins for the first time!  The dark frame was made using the Wonky Slimline die.  Her background was ink-blended with oxide inks and clouds stencil.  She also used the Waves Slimline Die to create her water scene, and adhered the Dolphins using the Stitched Dolphins die set with foam adhesive for added dimension.

     

     

    This second card by Priscilla is such a cute design.  The dark frame was die-cut using the Wonky Slimline die, adding the spotted patterned paper with the ruler as her background for Lola the Giraffe popped up on the card with some foam adhesive for added dimension.  She finished her design by popping up the sentiment as well with some foam adhesive.  The ruler behind Lola is such a great feature on this card!  Brilliant design!!!

     

     

    COFFEE BACKGROUND DIE – CAREN BARTHOLOMEW

     

     

    Check out this beautiful coffee-themed card by Caren!  I love how she inked up the coffee background panel using the Coffee Background die with some distress oxide ink and adhered this on some colored background that highlighted the coffee beans and cups!    She finished her design by adding the sentiment using the Let’s Get Caffeinated stamp set.  I really love the pop of color on this card by Caren!  She always makes the best CAS cards ever!

     

     

    LOLA THE GIRAFFE – SANDRA BEUS

     

    An amazing design from Sandra using a lot of KS products.  The background panel was die-cut using the Wonky Slimline die set and the grass hills using the Stitched Hills slimline die.  Lola the Giraffe was colored with alcohol markers.  She created her outdoor scene by adding the little trees, house, sun and clouds.  She finished her design by adding the colorful butterflies and popped up her sentiment with some foam adhesive for added dimension.

     

     

     

    CHRISTMAS GNOME STAMP SET – ADAM KARLE

     

     

    Adam’s cards are always cheerful and beautifully designed.  This slimline Christmas card is just so adorable!  The background patterned paper was die-cut using the Wonky Stitched Slimline die.  He also inked up the background with distress oxide and use the pine trees from the Crafter’s essentials – Winter die set. using a paintbrush and white paint to create the “snow” for added detail and dimension.  He stamped and colored the Gnome from the Christmas Gnomes stamp set.  He finished his design by adding the sentiment and a black bow. Very classy!

    For todays reveal, we are showcasing a few Slimline dies –> the Cityscape, Tri-Frames and Double Stitched Nesting with the Coffee Background die and the Christmas Gnome stamp set.  Design Team member, Martha is showcasing (the previously released) Lola the Giraffe stamp set but the coordinating die didn’t come in time for this release.  However, you will still see Martha’s project today.  Here’s what the dies and stamp set looks like:

    CITY SCAPE SLIMLINE DIE – MARIA RUSSELL

     

    I created the background by die-cutting masking paper using the Nesting Circle dies.  I ink-blended a Bristol smooth panel with Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet and Black Soot.  I used a paintbrush to flick some water on the colored panel and dabbed it with paper towel to dry.  Removing the mask revealed the full moon.  I used the Cityscape die to die-cut it in black and kept it simple by adhering it onto the colored panel with liquid glue.  I finished the design by stamping the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink and added an enamel heart.  Here’s a closer look:

     

     

    For my second card, I wanted to showcase the Cityscape die on an A2 size card to show versatility, die-cutting it a couple of times with some Bristol smooth white card stock and inking them up with some distress oxide inks in rainbow order.

     

     

    I used the Sunscape stencil to create a subtle hue for my background.  I finished the design by adding the sentiment from the Everyday Brush Stroke stamp set.  Here’s a closer look:

     

     

     

     

    TRI-FRAMES SLIMLINE DIE – JO THOMPSON

     

    This slimline card by Jo is just stunning!  She used the new Tri-Frames die set to die cut them in brown and yellow that matches the colors of Lola the Giraffe, adding a stenciled background using a grass stencil and finishing her design by adding a few colorful butterflies.

    DOUBLE-STITCHED NESTING SLIMLINE DIE – JO THOMPSON & MARIA RUSSELL

     

    Jo used the new Cityscape Slimline die and the Tri-Frames Slimline dies to create this cute shaker card.  For her sentiment, she used the You Rock Sentiment die and used the new Old Glory Sprinkles, just in time for your Patriotic-themed projects.

     

    Here’s Jo’s process video for this card:

     

     

    I went for a simple card.  I die-cut the panel using the Double-Stitched Nesting Slimline dies and stamped the rainbows and other images a few times on the card.  The frame was foam-mounted for added dimension and to finish the design, I added some Sparkling clear jewels.  They are my favorite to use for cards!

     

     

    COFFEE BACKGROUND DIE – KATHY SCHWEINFURTH

     

     

    I absolutely LOVE this design by Kathy.  The background was die-cut using the new Coffee Background die and ink-blended to look like coffee stain.  She then adhered this piece on some brown card stock to make the images pop.

     

    Kathy added the coffee cup die-cut from the Layered Coffee Cup die set, popping them up with foam adhesive.  She finished her design by adding the Hooray sentiment and Coffee Beans sprinkles, all available at the shop.

     

     

    LOLA THE GIRAFFE – MARTHA GOMEZ

     

    Even though we didn’t received the coordinating die for Lola the Giraffe because of the delay in shipping, Martha managed to create this cute card using the stamp set.

     

     

    Martha stamped the image four times on this card panel and colored them in with alcohol markers.  She die-cut the gingham pattern frame using the new Tri-Frames Slimline die set.  She finished her design by popping up the sentiment and added a few sprinkles.  Here’s a closer look:

     

     

     

    CHRISTMAS GNOME STAMP SET – LISA GOLZBEIN

     

     

    Lisa created three (3) adorable Christmas tags using the Christmas Gnome stamp set.  She colored her images with some alcohol markers, and use her Scan N Cut to die-cut them out.  She die-cut the tags three times using the Stitched Scalloped Nesting dies and stamped the sentiment a couple of times to create the background.  She used foam adhesive to pop up the images and the sentiment.  She finished her design by adding a festive red ribbon with some red and white twine.
