Happy Friday Everyone! Priscilla here from the Kat Scrappiness Design Team. Today I am sharing a birthday card with a hint of Valentine’s Day. Blue and red lips and a stitched heart background create a bold backdrop for a “Birthday Kisses” sentiment.

I used the Kat Scrappiness Smooches Coverplate Die (which includes a large lip die) and the just released Birthday Kisses w/shadow Die to make today’s card.

Card Details:

• Created an A2 top-folding card base.
• Used the Smooches Coverplate Die and silver cardstock to create the stitched heart and lip background.
• Used the Smooches Coverplate Die again with a piece of red paper from the new Birthday Essentials 6 x 8 Paper Pad so I could adhere the red lips I needed over the silver ones on the stitched background.

• Die cut 2 sets of lips from bright blue cardstock and foam mounted them to the front of the card.
• Die cut the sentiment “Birthday Kisses” from the same blue cardstock and adhered it to a vellum shadow and then adhered both to the front of the card.
