  • Rainbow Hearts Slimline

    Hello Friends Waleska Galindo here, today I wanted to share a very colorful card using the Intertwined hearts Die.  This beautiful die can be used in many different ways specially for shaker cards but today I used it on a different way, I hope you like it and can be inspired by it.

    CARD DETAILS:

    To start my card I die cut the intertwined hearts three times with white cardtock and adhere them together to create dimention.  I then inked the inside parts of the hearts with rainbow oxide ink colors: Candid Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet and Kitsch Flamingo.  They look beautiful!! I then splash some water and some sparkle watercolor.

    I cut the back of this die and adhere everything together.  I cut a Slimline panel of the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline die and used the same colors of the hearts on this panel.  I cut a card base and add this panel.

    Finally I added some Sparkling Clear Jewels around the hearts and added the sentimet. I love how this card turned out!  Remember you can find this and many other amazing products at the shop.  Have a lovely day!

  • Ho Ho Ho Grinch Ornaments

    Hello Friends Waleska here to share a very funny card inspired on one of my favorite christmas movies The Grinch! and that is because I used to be a Christamas Grinch before my husband taught me the beauty of Christmas, so I felt inspired today to make some Grinch ornaments  with the new Christmas Shaker Ornament dies! 

    CARD DETAILS:

    To create this fun slimline card I used the Condensed Upercase Alphabet Dies I only used the H today but I love this die set because I can use it to form many different words I cut this letters with red cardstock and then I cut some white stripes that I glue to the letters. Then I cut the ornaments with green cardstock and the top part of the ornaments with gold cardstock, I stamped the grinch face to the ornaments.

    I then adhere the letters and ornaments to a white cardbase and I cut a frame from the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline Dies from light blue cardstock.

  • Sending Hugs Friend New Quokkas

    Hello Friends Waleska here to share with you a fun Slimline shaker card with the new Quokka´n Up stamp.

    CARD DETAILS:

    I started this card by creating the shaker polaroids.  To create the shakers I die cut 6 pieces of the polaroid diecuts and glue them together to get dimension.

    I then glue the acetate on the front of the acetates and glue another in the front to cover the acetate.

    I ink blend some backgrounds for the polaroids with a cloud stencil, I also colored the Quokkas with copic markers.

    I finally glue the quokkas to the polaroids and added the sequence to the inside of the polaroids with some glitter I glue the cloud backgrounds to the three frames.

    I glue all the polaroid frames to a slimline card base, I used the Double Stitched Nesting Slimline dies and the Fancy Scalloped Nesting Slimline die I added the sentiments to all the polaroids.  This is such a fun card I love those cute faces of the Quokkas!!

  • Slimline Foliage Frame

    Hello Friends Waleska here, to share with you a Slimline card with the new Foliage Frame die!!!  I love this new Slimline version of the old design we had it is super versatile and gives a very elegant look to any card you make.

     

    CARD DETAILS:

    To create this card I started by cutting from  watercolor paper the Slimline Foliage Frame and with Oxide Ink Sprays spray and smooshed the color to create the splash detail.  I used Blueprint Sketch and Cracked Pistachio.

    I set aside this panel to dry and started with my card base, I wanted a soft color but bright enough to pop on the foliage background.  I masked a white card base so that the ink blended background was only inside the frame, and ink blend Twisted Citron Oxide ink.  I also put some color splashes of water mixed with the same inks I used before.  I added gold watercolor splashes too,

    I then put 3D Foam to raise the Foliage Frame to the card base and adhere it. I cut another panel of the die, but this time on gold cardstock and cut some of the foliage to tuck inside the frame for a gold look.

     

    I finish by adding the Thanks die cut from the Give Thanks word die by Kat, I only used the thanks die in the middle of the card.  I used a Kraft card base and added some sequins here and there for some sparkle.

    Hello Friends Waleska here to share a very colorful slimline card today!

     

    CARD DETAILS:

    To create this card I started with the background, I used Oxide Inks in colors Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Broken China.

    I cut the largest frame from the Tri-Frame Slimline Dies with white cardstock.  I stamped a bunch of markers from the Crafters Gona Craft Stamp set and colored them with copic markers in rainbow order.

    I cut and adhere all the markers to the cardbase and glue the frame, I stamped the sentiment and put some sequins.  I used a black card base to finish this card.

  • Lola The Rainbow Giraffe

    Lola The Rainbow Giraffe

    Hello Friends I am happy today to share a new slimline card with the adorable 3×4 Lola The Giraffe and lots of fun Slimline dies Kat Scrappiness has on the shop.

     

    CARD DETAILS:

    For this card I started by cutting the second largest die from the Embossed Edge Nesting Slimline die and inked it with the following colors of Oxide Inks:

    Salty ocean, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold Worn Lipstik and Wilted Violet

    I added water splashes and some sparkle with Pixie Dust.

     

    I stamped and colored 3 Lolas with copic markers in the same color palette of the background and adhere them to the inked panel stacking them one on top of the other.

    To finish this card I cut a card base with the largest of the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline on kraft cardstock and adhere the inked panel to this.  I also stamped the sentiment with Versafine ink.

    I love this adorable stamp and the sentiment is super fun to send to someone specially on this looong distance times!

  • Beach Gnomes

    Beach Gnomes

    Hello Friends Waleska here super happy to be sharing a new tutorial with some of the newest released products.  They are so much fun to create with and this stamp set for sure will put a smile on someone you love.

     

    CARD DETAILS:

    I started with the background, I wanted to create a beach scene.  I cut one of the dies on the Embossed Edge Nesting Slimline Dies as my card base and then cut a second panel to create the waves, from that panel I cut several waves from the Kat Scrappiness Waves Border Dies on this set you have three different types of waves!!!

    I then colored the waves with Oxide Inks Salty Ocean and Chipped Saphire. I then cut the sand and did some white and brown splashes with Vintage Photo Oxide Ink and for the sunrays I used Fossilized Amber on a yellow paper.

    I colored the cute and super funny Beach gnomes from the new Summer Gnomes stamp set enjoying some vacations with copic markers.

     

    I adhere the gnomes into the scene and used one of the funny sentiments.  I also adhere this panel to the biggest of the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline Dies as a base of my card.
